50th Birthday Getaway

Beautiful house right on the beach. Everything you need in a house plus a hot tub on the roof. Great outdoor furniture on the decks for morning coffee or sunset watching from the roof. There is plenty to do nearby and it's a short walk for stores and great food. I would book this place again for sure. We had a blast.

Mission Beach & Belmont Park Vacay 2024

What an amazing place!!! Totally perfect for a family or family with extended family, the location is priceless!!! I especially enjoyed the ocean front view in the rooftop jacuzzi, not to mention my own personal in-room jacuzzi and easy access to have beachfront yoga!! Overall an excellent place to stay!! Will definitely be back next time I visit SD

Beach House Stay

Second time staying at this property and we always have a blast. I love the location because it’s just a walk to the games , food, and beach is literally in your backyard. So many stunning views from the patio to the roof top even in the hot tub. Just fun in the sun !

Family Week @ the Beach

The property is in a fantastic location, mid North Mission, on the boardwalk. The property needs a little maintenance and some deep cleaning. Grand kids loved the hot tube.

best house on the beachfront

I scanned through every Vrbo on the beachfront and ended up splurging on this one because aside from being one of the few that had everything I was looking for, something about it told me we just HAD to stay here. Was WELL worth the choice. Think of the nightly rate as being the cost of staying in the nicest house you’ll ever set foot in your life. Curtis is a chill dude as well and knows a lot about San Diego

Great Mission Bay location

Amazing location and views. Loved the hot tub on the third floor. Great for watching surfers, dolphins, and people. Family of 8 adults stayed multiple nights over New Years and were pleased. Curtis was very helpful. If you require modern, bright decore, might not be your choice, but if looking for clean, spacious house with great location and view this house is it.

Perfect location, wonderful amenities

This house is situated smack dab in between PB, Belmont Park and Mission Bay. Definitely bring bikes with you if possible. The house has everything else (beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels). We will definitely be coming back!

Older, big house in fantastic location

Large older house ideal for big groups in an unbeatable location. Its an older house with older decor so if your looking for modern decor and luxiry this might not be the best option. House has all the amenities you’ll need for a great experience living beachside for a few days (multiple decks, outdoor rooftop seating, grill, dishwasher/washer+dryer)

Before Idaho winter arrives beach vacation

We make a few trips down to Mission Beach each year with family and friends. We love the area and weather and our chance to relax at the beach! Curtis has a very cozy and eclectic home. We enjoyed the location between Belmont and Pacific Beach. The accomodations were great for our large family and less than half of us were able to book time to travel to the area. We were able to settle in immediately and enjoy our time together. Thank you for the hospitality!

On the Beach Villa

I loved the place when I saw it in January as I planned a June family vacation for 9 of us. It was absolutely perfect for us; bedrooms worked, kitchen great, decks roomy, hot tub a huge hit. Location was a major plus: lots of fun walking the walk, talking to people, favorite restaurants, Sam's Little Market close by and the sandy beach steps away. We had chairs, toy buckets, boogie boards, towels provided. The villa got even more use because the weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. It is a very special house and we loved our stay.

Great location in Mission Beach!

We had a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids under 6) and we enjoyed the house and location. The house is right on the beach which was great for the kids to play. There is also garage parking which is great due to the limited parking in the area. Please note that 2 mini vans could not fit in the garage, but 2 cars likely can. There is also street parking within a 5-10 min walk but the area is busy since it is very close to the beach. The house was clean and big enough for our group, however it felt a bit tired. The house was in average condition with a good amount of wear and tear on the bathrooms and kitchen. Everything was functional, but for the cost of the rental we were expecting the place to be in better shape. For example, the living room has large windows that look out on the beach and a busy walking path and the window blinds did not work which meant people can see into the house at night. Some of the bedroom window coverings were also sub-par. Overall our family had a great vacation and the location was the highlight!

Mission Beach- location location location

The location speaks for itself. Nothing can beat it. Steps away from the beach, a sunset view that is difficult to beat. However, the house was not very clean. The floors and bathrooms were not at the level of expectations we have when we rent through VRBO. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and spices….there are no toiletries so be prepared to bring those items immediately. The garage is not a two car garage. It’s one car with space for bikes, etc. the garage door does not close so leaving the house was inconvenient as you had to lock the door from the inside and walk around the front to lock up completely. The owner is responsive. Met us upon arrival and showed us around. If we are to stay in SD again, I don’t think we will stay here again. We paid a pretty penny for a higher expectation.

Great location and good layout for a group. However, the house was not very clean, front door was handle was broken when we got there and was supposed to be fixed the next day but never was, and basic items like shampoo, conditioner, adequate toilet paper, trash bags, towels were not provided. Towels and sheets were very worn also. For the price I really expected a first class place.

We stayed at this beach house in 2021 and returned 4 years later this summer. It is perfect in that the beach is right out the front door. If you don't want to sit in the sand and sun all day long, take a break and go up on one of the decks on the second or third level and watch all the action on the ocean front walk, relax in the Jacuzzi or stretch out on a nice padded chaise lounge. It's an easy walk to Belmont Park, or you're just one block from Mission Blvd. where there are plenty of local restaurants and bars to try -- or maybe you'd like to do some shopping. It's just a hop, skip and jump to the Olive Bakery in the morning for their absolutely scrumptious cinnamon rolls - no dieting on vacation. All in all, our family (3 generations) had a wonderful, relaxing vacation on Mission Beach!

Family Spring Beak Adventures

10/10 location! The house was perfect for our Spring Break. We were able to enjoy the beach, bay, nearby shops, Belmont Park, Seaworld and countless other adventures. The house was amazing. We enjoyed the views from the bedrooms, living room and rooftop deck. We spotted dolphins and other sea life pretty much every day. We bbq'd on the deck and enjoyed family dinners. We used the hottub constantly. The host met us for check-in to provide a detailed tour of the home. He checked in during the week to make sure our stay was going well. Overall, the house was excellent and exceeded our expectations.
