"This hotel is probably the most unique place we have ever stayed. It is historic and has been updated but the plumbing is still a bit less than ideal. Our room was spacious, and clean. the hotel is located right in the old part of Seville, so walking to sites and restaurants was very easy and a short distance away. Breakfast was plentiful with many options. There were spa facilities but we did not have time to take advantage of them. "

"I'll start by saying when there was someone at the front desk they were so lovely and as helpful as they could be - however, as the listing says a lot of this stay is automated so there isn't always someone there and you cannot rely on that. The size of the room was amazing - absolutely no complaints on that behalf and had everything I needed, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, hob etc. and was well stocked with utensils and a dishwasher! Unfortunately, I had an issue with a giant cockroach on the second night - the front desk lady dealt with it and they agreed a 15% discount for this. However, the next day I found another and I was also covered in bug bites on my face, neck, palms of hands etc. I'd stayed in a different hotel in the same area for 5 days before moving here and didn't have a single bite. There is a very strong smell in the foyer area but luckily it didn't go to my room. The doors all unlock with a phone app - no physical key card etc at all. There's also no way to lock the door again from the inside so I did feel a little on edge with this. Overall - for the price - it's not worth it and I'd likely go for a more traditional hotel with all the help and amenities in the future."

"Good location, room a bit outdated and with no very good sound proof, also curtains do not obscure well so not a lot of privacy. Room was large enough though, same with bathroom. Good choice of pillows but not great the selection of tea and coffee and similar for toiletries. Very good breakfast and nice swimming pool with view at the top. Overall good. "

"Based on the considerations of four star hotel, the room is quite clean but the bed is not desirable for a couple seeking a comfy bed as it was made of two single beds together. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of fresh and tasty food."

"Once you arrive they make it easy!! They were very accommodating with checking in and out and taking care of the car. Location is perfect!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the location was perfect for seeing pretty much all the main sights in Seville given that it was our visit. Me and my friend enjoy walking and many of the sights were within about 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms were spacious, very clean and had all the amenities you would expect from a high class establishment. The coffee station where fresh pastries and snacks were offerred to all gueats each day, was a lovely touch. This type of offering is normally reserved for certain guests. The breakfast was also lovely and we felt it was a reasonable cost for the variety and quality. The only disappointment was that we expected the swimming pool to be open and wasn't due to be until a few weeks later. The hotel was apologetic and suggested that they will contact Expedia to improve communication during booking in future. We would both definitely recommend this hotel as a perfect place for a long weekend in Seville."
