"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

My criticism is the spa rules were not consistent and regimented concerning hours spent as a hotel guest even when it was not busy. I think it is a shame that they don’t have a pool for families. The pool is only used for people 18 years and older. The spa services were not available on the weekend which is surprising during peak season."

The air conditioning wasn’t working either. "We only stayed one night but after being here I wish we had a chance to extend the trip. The hotel was amazing. The staff were all so kind and helpful and I couldn’t get over how incredible the views were. This exceeded any expectations I had!!!
