"The hotel was in a good location to bike to Rome and overall it was a good stay, but there was a lot of noise outside of our hotel room late at night and we had what sounded like someone trying to get in our door once we had gone to sleep which scared us. But it's an older hotel, still very clean, but just loud doors so maybe it was just other people opening and closing their doors."

"Easy to locate and only around a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro. Easy check in with friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable and there was a great selection at breakfast."

"The shower was horrendous. Firstly, the water wouldn’t come out of shower head and then finally it did, and came shooting solely out of the left side. There is no stand for the shower head so you have to hold it above your head the whole time. It was not draining the water through the bottom well so I was standing in an inch of water for most of the shower. Lastly, the worst of the whole shower was some type of salt/sand grains started coming out of the shower head. I noticed them at my feet and then felt them on my forehead. I imagine they got in my hair too as there was grains all over the floor when the water eventually drained. It was the worst shower I’ve ever had. I don’t know if other rooms had this problem but I imagine it would be a problem across the entire plumbing system of the building."

"Everything about our stay for 3 nights was great. The room was clean and easily accessible. Staff was great. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is better pillows- ours were all flat and the bed was very hard but overall, I would stay again the next time we’re in Rome."
