Quiet,relaxing, and delicious breakfast. Rental car best way to explore Maderia. Note: existing hotel lot is a one way left turn only. Hotel needs to clear shrubs to see on-coming cars easer.

There's nothing special to do in the mountain area and the morning is pretty cloudy without view, also there's no view from the room. I expected to have better aroma in the room and in the pool and lobby area. The bad was soft and comfortable, the bath kit was nice, and the breakfast was good.

Staff were nice and tried to please but service was slow. Difficult to get staff attention in the restaurant. The hotel was nice but the area was quite desolate. Very limited options for eating (1 village diner, and a couple of bars) The golf nearby was excellent and the pick up service was helpful. We didn’t have a hire car and getting around was hard. We really relied on the pick ups for the guided Levada walks

Verkligen helt fantastiska sÀngar! Superbra frukost. Trevligt med pool och biljard. Det lÄg uppe bland bergen och inte mycket restauranger i nÀrheten sÄ man mÄste ha bil om man ska bo dÀr. Restaurangen nekade oss pÄ kvÀllen för de bara hade en kock, sÄ man behöver boka i god tid innan.

Schönes Landhotel mit Macken!

Schönes Hotel am Land, aber: Zu wenig SitzplĂ€tze im Restaurant (als HotelgĂ€ste konnten wir am Nachmittag fĂŒr das Abendessen keinen Tisch mehr fĂŒr 2 Personen reservieren), das Hallenbad hat eine schlechte bzw. gar keine LĂŒftung (von der Decke tropft es dauernd herunter) und zu wenige Liegen, wir hatten ein Zimmer im "Turm", das ohne Lift nur ĂŒber eine halsbrecherische Stiege erreichbar war und das Hinauf- und Hinuntertragen der Koffer war eine schweißtreibende Angelegenheit (es gab auch kein GepĂ€ckservice). Ansonsten Zimmer, FrĂŒhstĂŒck und 1 x Essen im Hotel bezĂŒglich Preis-/Leistung in Ordnung.

Bon séjour

Hotel de bon augure sur les hauteurs. Bon restaurant et bon petit déjeuner, pas beaucoup de choix proche si on veut diner à l'extérieur. Personnel sympathique. Piscine agréable le soir aprÚs avoir randonné dommage que le sauna ne fonctionne pas directement car pas envie de monter à la réception quand on est en maillot de bain !

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr sauberes Zimmer und sehr ruhig. Draußen ist ein sehr schöner Park mit Liegemöglichkeiten. Das Hotel liegt auf ĂŒber 600 m in den Bergen.
