Had a nice time at Dreams Huatuluco. It was a beautiful resort and the food was really good. There were alot of real authentic mexican food options. Its a quiet resort compared to other Dreams Resorts we have stayed at. Our partial ocean view room (2306) was on the third floor and had a great view. All three infinity pools were amazing, spent most of our time in them gazing at the ocean. We were just about the only Americans at the resort and there were only a few Canadians so with this said, most of the entertainment and shows were in Spanish. The ocean was really rough so we didn't spend much time in the ocean, red warning flag 6 of 7 days. We took a taxi off resort to eat lunch a few times ($6 taxi ride) and had incredible seafood soup and huge shrimp for $15 US. This would have been $40 in Puerto Vallarta or Cancun. My only complaint/suggestion for the resort is to serve Corona beer or even Modelo in the future. The resort serves Dos Equis beer and nobody likes cheap Dos Equis. I would be willing to pay a little more to drink good beer. We had to buy sunscreen and aloa vera at the Dreams store and paid $35 for a small bottle of aloa vera and over $50 US for sunblock lotion, so don't forget to bring it . If we can ever get a direct flight From Chicago to Huatuluco, we will consider going to Huatuluco again. Till then, will keep going to Puerto Vallarta as we wasted an entire day on layovers going to Huatuluco, no direct flights available

We had a great time at this property. Everything is centrally located and easily accessible. Staff was great. There were a couple annoyances like being solicited to right after I checked in. That was tacky! Also being followed back to my room to pay for a dinner because I had to pay immediately after for any additional services or charges. That’s why hotels collect credit cards but these folks don’t do that, other than that this was our favorite and #1 rated hotel in Huatulco. Las Rivas was 2 and Secrets came in at 3

Location is fabulous, I was disappointed that they don't have better Oaxaca food in the restaurants. DO NOT eat at El Patio restaurant, they have a mosquito infestation. The cleaning staff are fabulous, but the beds sunk in too much, due to over use. Overall a lovely stay.

Wonderful stay with all amenities for me and my adult kids and grandchildren! Rooms very comfortable and clean with good dining options. Something for everyone at buffet’s and the beach is beyond expectations! Pools are comfortable and clean and lots of chairs by pool and beach.
