“It's all happening now” said Pinkie Flamingo as she cruised past the popular Gulf Place scene on Florida's famous Highway 30A. Having evolved into more of a state-of-mind in recent years, this winding coastal avenue is composed of a diverse array of charming beach communities and quaint eclectic neighborhoods. With a collective appeal to just about everyone, each of the areas has its own unique style and affords a different vacation experience.

Pinkie especially liked the vibe around Gulf Place with its array of beachy shops and locally-owned restaurants. The open-air upstairs at Shunk Gulley was a particular favorite and Pinkie had been known to catch a sunset or two while sipping a craft cocktail overlooking the street scene below and watching the waves playfully rolling in across the way.

Marveling at the proximity to the action, Pinkie turned off County Hwy 393 down a quiet street and pulled up the gated entrance of Coastal Grove, a very inviting community of townhomes just 2 blocks from Gulf Place! Her destination today was #5 at 43 Coastal Grove Way, a popular unit just around to the left and walkable to the community pool and The Ed Walline Public Beach Access.
