Lovely home

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything a guest might need. We really enjoyed staying here. The road is a little busy during the day, but not noisy at night. We would love to stay here on a future visit to Santa Rosa.

Wonderful stay

We loved the time we spent in Santa Rosa. Cheryl’s property was clean, beautiful and close to family. It is located on a somewhat busy street but it was a quick drive to our relatives house so that was nice. We had a great stay and would recommend this property to others looking to visit the area.

Orange trees, beautiful space, lovely back yard for privacy and sun. Loved this little oasis in the historical home district. Near downtown. A perfect home base while travelling to the coast for day trips.

A Cute Cottage in Wine Country

We stayed here for three days and loved it! The bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was great on cold mornings! The refrigerator was stacked with English muffins, butter, jelly, cheese, crackers, coffee and wine. There were even cold wine glasses! We ate out every night but the kitchen would have been perfect for cooking meals, The owner listed nearby restaurants and wineries which was very helpful.I recommend this cottage for couples who love wine and need a cozy place to relax!

A Delightful Stay

This is a beautiful property. We were comfortable and enjoyed the many special touches. The furnishings and garden were lovely. We value being able to cook when we travel. This home was ideally arranged for cooking and soaking-in the atmosphere of Santa Rosa. It was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. The property manager left us some treats to help us celebrate which was a welcome surprise.

Certainly! Here’s a professional yet honest VRBO review based on your input:⸻We stayed here for a weekend getaway with friends to revisit our old stomping grounds. Check-in was smooth and the house was clean upon arrival, though there was a lingering old or musty odor that didn’t go unnoticed.The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes and supplies, which was a plus. However, we booked for three people and were surprised to find exactly three bath towels and only two hot tub towels. Bathroom amenities overall were pretty minimal, so be sure to bring your own supplies.A major disappointment was the unexpected 225 fee charged for an “additional guest,” despite the listing allowing up to four people and only three of us staying. Nice home and location, but the extra fee left a bad taste and made the experience feel less welcoming. Just be cautious and confirm all charges with the host beforehand.

Wonderful Experience

The house was absolutely perfect. Clean. Well stocked. The yard was beautifully maintained. And while in a downtown neighborhood, it felt very private and secluded. And the extra touches, such as fresh cut flowers on the dining room table, the hot tub basket and bottle of wine were nice touches.

Amazing Cottage Style Property

Really just a beautiful place for us to call home while we explored Napa/Sonoma/Petuluma. Cheryl was so kind to give us some helpful hints that proved to be highlights of our trip. We were there for 8 nights, cooked many. Amazing local market and wine bar walking distance. (And a pizza spot). Would 100% stay here again. If i was home shopping, inwould want this home!

Amazing stay within reach of countless wineries

This place is perfect! Clean, comfortable, and within a short, beautiful drive to tons of wineries. Walking distance from a nice local market. Courtesy bottle of wine with a nice message, happy birthday in our case as it was my wife’s birthday. Has everything you need for a lovely weekend or extended stay. Hot tub and fenced in back yard were perfect. Orange trees smelt beautiful!

Gourmet Wine Country Cottage

This is a charming, well maintained property in Santa Rosa. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and beautiful appliances for cooking, or if you loved to bake. It has an extensive cookbook collection to enjoy, while sipping tea and coffee or sitting on the patio enjoying the lovely landscaped yards. The host is very responsive and easy to reach if needed. I would highly recommend this property.

Great energy in this house, Felt like home.

We had such an excellent stay at Cheryl's house/home. Cheryl presents her house as a home. Everything that you have in the comforts of your own home is available. The house has such an excellent, positive vibe and feel. You can feel the positive energy of the history of the house and the care Cheryl has put into it. Very quiet neighborhood and just a few blocks from Wili's Wine Bar. I have already recommended to family and friends.

Lovely home away from home with everything you could possibly need!

The Encore was the perfect vacation home for my daughter and me to celebrate her 30th birthday in Sonoma Valley and the surrounding area. This home was not only beautiful inside, but the backyard was private and like an oasis with the gorgeous landscaping, hot tub, and separate massage room. Cheryl went above and beyond providing everything you could possibly need to make her home even more warm and welcoming. The location is within a short distance of so many wonderful attractions. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting this part of California. We hope to stay there again whenever we can return to the west coast in the future.

Cheryl is great! Her home is wonderful! We booked it for the July 4 weekend, which ended up being so warm that we had to cancel our plans to be outdoors and spend most of the time at the property. My wife, in particular, loved the place, and key highlights were the garden with many wonderful trees that had amazing fruits, and the hot tub! The hot tub was so easy to operate, and so clean! The place was stocked with almost everything we needed and very tastefully decorated. We would love to return at a time that offers better weather.

BEST HOST EVER!!!

Me and my friend Heather rented this adorable cottage for our first experience to check out Napa! We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome gift from the host and clear communication through the whole stay. The home was picturesque and private, beautifully landscaped backyard was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly and were especially grateful for the thoughtful touches and gifts from the host. We were pleasantly surprised to find the massage therapist would come to our place and had her own massage set up in the charming little room outside. The entire experience was one we will never forget and I’d highly recommend renting from Cheryl- she is the best!

Concerned about the owner

I was the reservation holder of the vacation rental, which meant my name was on the house. In securing the reservation under my name, I assume all responsibility for ensuring there is no damage to the property. I also ensure that I take any action necessary to remove any threat to the safety of myself and the home. My family member became a threat to my safety and security of the home. This person was slamming items and verbally attacking me. The owner was at the property watering her lawn, after I politely said it was okay to come by, when I stepped outside to let her know that the other person in the house was being asked to leave because she was causing a disturbance and threatened my safety. I locked the person out of the home while I waited on the police. The homeowner then unlocked the door to let the the unstable person back in the house without notifying me. I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t know what to do. I called my family. My family told me to ask her to leave again. The police refused to come to the house and the guest ultimately physically attacked me after asking her to leave again. The police finally came after I called a second time. Now, the homeowner wants to withhold my deposit for fear that she will receive a citation due to the police and medical assistance that disturbed the public. My hope is that the homeowner refund my deposit and never repeat this action again. I am still contemplating legal action, especially after receiving the notification that she is withholding my deposit.
