"This is a BnB not a hotel so you don’t get all the amenities you’d expect from a hotel. The facility is very good but it didn’t have an elevator. We were on the 2nd floor so this wasn’t as bad as it may seem. The breakfast was excellent and the scrambled eggs were hot. We didn’t find this at 7 other places we stayed on this trip. They don’t have an area to park and it was difficult to find a spot. Parking is a problem everywhere we went in Sicily. We would stay here again."

And location was perfectly tucked away but accessible to everything close by. Real luxury touches! "This hotel has a ton of character, clean rooms, good breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. It’s super close to the beach and the parking is easy right out front. Being jet-lagged and my first night in Sicily, I couldn’t figure out how the AC unit worked, unfortunately, but opening the windows helped and I still slept very well. I will definitely come back to stay here again!"

"The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."
