The room, large and spotless was perfect but the downside is the fact that it is a 30.min walk from the station. OK if you travel light with a rucksack.

We had a great stay at the Cozy Inn, Otaru. Building is very well laid out, and rooms were fairly sizeable, new and clean. There isn't much of a common area, or kitchen etc but that's fine as there is lots in the area. Staff was super friendly and helpful, it's one of those properties we wish we would have stayed longer.

There are a supermarket, Max( Aeon) and Daiso in 5minutes walking distance. Very convenient and enjoyed local fresh food including dairy, sushi, and bentos with good price. Otaru canal is 10 minutes away in walking and Otaru station is 25 minutes away in walking. It is very enjoyable to walk around all the places even though heavy snows. This hotel has spacious parking lots that provided a good spot to play with snow. Its rooms are very spacious and clean. This hotel seemed to be built with container modular houses so it doesn’t have enough soundproofing between walls. Generally all day along it is very quiet in the building except cleaning and house keeping times. Very satisfied staying.
