The staff is friendly and always ready to help with any requests. The location is quiet, away from the busy lakeside area, but still close enough to reach everything easily. "An unforgettable post-trek retreat—beautiful design, serene atmosphere, and exceptional service My husband and I stayed at Dorje’s for three nights after completing the Annapurna Circuit, and it was the best decision we made on our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt deeply cared for—greeted at the Pokhara airport, welcomed with a refreshing drink, and allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated after days on the trail. The property is stunning, with thoughtful architecture and interior design throughout. Nearly every spot on the grounds offers a beautiful lake view, and the rooms are filled with intentional, high-quality touches. Everything felt fresh, clean, and well-maintained. We indulged in spa treatments that included access to the steam room and sauna before our massages—an incredibly relaxing experience. Since we were there at the end of May (the beginning of monsoon season), the property was especially peaceful, and we often had the pool entirely to ourselves. The staff mentioned that it gets much livelier around September and October. We also had the pleasure of meeting Dorje himself and hearing his inspiring story of building the resort after years in the restaurant business. His hospitality ethos is clear in every detail—from the delicious, fresh food at the on-site restaurant (we happily ate most meals there) to the genuinely kind, attentive staff who go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional."

"The Hotel Annapurna View Sarangkot is a beautiful place to escape to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The staff are exceptionally polite, professional and pleasant and they went above and beyond to ensure that I felt safe, comfortable and happy. The rooms are nice and very clean and the dining is exquisite. I enjoyed delicious Nepali cuisine during my stay and will absolutely return next time I visit. 10/10 exceptional experience."

"This property is run by the nicest people. Due to unforseen circumstances, my flight was canceled and I ended up riding the night bus; so i arrived very early morning instead of the check in time the night before. Despite being woken up, the owner was incredibly kind and understanding.- quickly getting me into a clean room with beautiful lake views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone"

"Lovely hotel with excellent hospitable Nepalese staff. Lunch and Dinner were of a high quality. Only downside (as with all properties along the lake) is that there is a fair amount of noise from singing, people, funfair etc that may delay your sleep. Otherwise would definitely recommend staying there due to the central location and wonderful views of the lake"

"I stayed at Hotel Kunja for 5 nights. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was always great! I enjoyed each morning looking over the bustle of the main road and beautiful Lake Phewa in the distance. If you like the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. I liked the breakfast staff who were always pleasant and attentive. The front desk staff were also helpful. I didn’t feel well for a few days and the staff were thoughtful and considerate. Thanks"
