The front staff is very inviting and friendly. Although, the front could use a bit of a deodorizer as there was a bit of a weird smell.
It is a very convenient location. There’s very nearby amenities. You could walk across and there’s a dim sum, burrito restaurant, shopper drug mart, etc. The hockey rink was about a 6 min drive.
The pool looked a lot bigger in the photos. The slide is nice. Kids loved that. I would wear slippers around the pool because they use some sort of black material that’s very hard on the feet. Some parts were cracked/picked around the fountain areas and hot tub, they went into the water. Be careful because there’s a sitting/blocks built into the pool, I scraped my knee there. The metal hand railing(going into the pool) is not drilled in properly so don’t grab onto that!
My allergies flared up so badly in the room. I have allergies to dogs and cats. I took some reactine to help mask my symptoms. The carpets need a little bit of love(I have photos, I won’t post). It was stained and I don’t think their shop vac picked up all the animal hairs and such. Please buy the cleaners better vacuums. Parts of the bathroom didn’t feel clean. My daughter accidentally dropped the soap bar and you could tell it was never cleaned there as there was a huge build up. I have photos(I won’t post). We were both so grossed out. The tile forever looked like there was something at the bottom. Overall didn’t feel clean in the room.
