This is a beautiful building in an excellent location in the heart of Saugatuck. There's a great little shop in the ground floor as well. The loft is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The living area is bright and roomy and was great for spending an afternoon with family as a respite in the air conditioning during the hottest part of the day or during a rainstorm. The unit is entirely on the upper level as well, so if you have a stroller or heavy bags to bring along, be advised that it's a hike up the stairs. The kitchen is kind of DIY-ish and there is no dishwasher, so it's not great for doing your own cooking for a longer stay.My only issue with this property is the logistics of the bathrooms and sleeping arrangements. We needed three beds, one of which was the sleeper sofa in the living room. However, the living room windows did not have blinds, so it felt a little strange from a privacy perspective, and it got really bright and sunny really early in the morning. Additionally, the only bathroom on the main level is only accessible through the master bedroom. There is another bathroom up in the loft, and as such both bathrooms are slightly inconvenient for different reasons. In summary, it's a neat place, but just be aware of the logistical limitations.
