This newly renovated lakeside paradise is nestled on the backside of Yonah Mountain. Just 5 minutes outside the world famous alpine village of Helen, Ga. this private chalet is adjacent to a 22 acre lake with a picturesqueness mountain view. This home is perfect for spending romantic nights beside the fire pit, fishing with the guys, a girls vineyard getaway, or a fun-filled family weekend. Perfect for small groups of people interested in a nice place to fish, hike or just hanging out. Take the kids to the local water park, putt putt golfing, or mining for gemstones. Private, 22 acre lake, is stocked with large mouth bass, brim, crappie, and trout. Amazing for kayaking, swimming, or just resting in the hammock overlooking the serene lake and stunning views of Mt. Yonah. With the many historical sites in the area, state parks, numerous shopping sites, and kid friendly attractions, our mountain home is sure to become your favorite mountain destination.

Great stay! Good location with easy access to town. Fishing for Bream is fantastic , take a walk down the yard to find the big ones . Watch out for the big ants .

The house is beautiful, and the kids had so much fun fishing, swimming, and kayaking in the lake. The only downside is, there's a lot of road noise all day and night. I will say, the house more than made up for it though. Check in was a breeze, and communication with the host is flawless.

My wife and I have stayed here about 6 times now. You can't beat the convenience of how close the fishing is to the back door. Also it is so quiet on the lake. We will come again.

Enjoyed the house and lake. Spent 5 days with my wife kids and grand kids. Grandkids loved the geese every morning and evening. Fishing is great. Didn’t spend anytime in Helen stayed at the lake house. We will return.

Fishing Trip

My brother and our spouses enjoyed our trip. The ladies did the sightseeing and my brother and I fished. We caught all the fish we needed from the patio and enjoy fishing on the lake as well.I recommend night fishing as well for catfish off the patio.There’s a great place to clean your fish.Overall, it was a great time.We look forward to another trip in the future.

Beautiful home located right on the water. Had a great time taking the job boat out and catchin some bass. This was a perfect place for my fiancé and I to take a quick weekend getaway to reset. Loved it!

Absolutely perfect!

We loved everything about the house. It was clean, peaceful and relaxing! The access to the lake was the best part and we caught many fish. We would love to come back and visit!
