Needs to be shutdown

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We needed a room Just for an overnight stay while driving from Florida to North Carolina. Couldn't find a hotel and called Hotels.com to help. This was the only hotel with availability and we know why now. There is absolutely no installation, the beds are wrapped in plastic, the remote for the TV didn't work, the light in the bathroom didn't work, when taking a shower the faucet fell off making a shower impossible, there were holes in the bathroom door, etc, etc. this place should be shutdown!

Awful!

The check in staff (a man) was very nice. But everything else was awful! The room was filthy, it looked like just the beds were made and towels put in and the rest wasn’t cleaned at all. The whole bathroom was filthy it wasn’t cleaned at all. The sink was horribly dirty and the ice bucket was dirty. We couldn’t even let our almost 2 year old daughter in the floor. Do not recommend staying here.

I have stayed at some horrible places in my life, but this was hands down the worst. I reserved the room on Expedia and reserved a king size non smoking room and was bringing my 7 lb dog. I got there and was told that because I have my dog, I had to be in a specific area. I was put into a double room in the smoking area. Thankfully I travel with Febreeze but it barely did anything. The room absolutely reeked of smoke. Both comforters on the beds had cigarette burns. The walls and furniture was filthy and tattered. Ceiling was flaking and peeling. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. When I left, both me and my dog smelled of cigarettes. Without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed.
