The spacious bedroom is located off the entry hall with ample storage space and Queen size bed. Enjoy a full size bath with standing shower at the end of the hall. The living area is perfect for quiet evenings in, with a sofa that pulls out into a Queen sleeper for two additional guests. Great neighborhood, near bus stop, kitty corner from Mercer House, 1 block from Forsyth Park, near great coffee shop. Plenty of on street parking - easy to use Park Savannah for on street parking. Things to improve: info binder for guests needs updating - better map, better info, better organization and definitely information on the Free Shuttle! We definitely would stay again.

Quaint and Cozy Apartment!

We enjoyed our stay in the Garden Oasis. It was so charming. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook any meal. I didn’t cook but the cabinets were full! The bed was super comfy. I loved the decor and the old brick floors. I would stay again and highly recommend it.

An inviting, safe, excellent location for my home away from home

It was very comfortable, relaxing home to wake up to and end an evening relaxing after a day of exploring Savannah. You can walk to everything and if you're in a hurry to get back and relax call a Lyft at the end of your day. For groceries order them online through Amazon at wholefoods; currently a free special with no delivery cost for $37 woth of groceries.

Location perfect

The location of this property was great! Parking was a non issue. The only negative I have is the differences between on the online pictures compared to the actual place. I know that it is a garden apartment, but the brightness in the pictures is a stark contrast to the actually cave like feeling in the apartment. Now I realize it was staged for pictures. The actuality is a very dark apartment with too much heavy, old dark furniture, draperies that creates the cave feeling instead of a light/bright feeling,

Comfy Apartment in a Historic Neighborhood

The apartment was reasonably priced, very comfortable, and in a lovely historic building. It was also within easy walking distance of some of Savannah‘s beautiful historic squares, which are hallmarks of the city. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see, including some incredible restaurants. We would definitely stay in this home again. :-)

Great homebase for Savannah vacation

The apartment is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to be in the middle of Savannah's historic district. The Mercer house and Forsyth Park are both a block away. As for the unit itself, it was very nice, although the sofa in the living room should be replaced. The washer/dryer didn't work very well, but maybe we didn't figure out how to make them work. Other than those minor issues, we were very satisfied and happy. Check in was easy, and everything we needed was in the unit. Understand that this is a "garden apartment," which means it's partially underground, although there are windows. In order to maintain privacy you'll likely do was we did, and keep the shades drawn, which makes it a little dark. But, we weren't there much during the day anyway so it was no problem. The courtyard in back is charming. We would definitely return. Parking can be an issue, but we did not have much difficulty. I recommend that anyone staying there download the "Park Savannah" app and use it to park on the street or anywhere in Savannah.

Reviewer Comments: Thank you so much to your staff for their patience, I could not figure out how to open the gate and when it opened then I could not open the door, a young man was sent from your office and explained how to open the gate and the door. I was not impressed when I saw the entrance to the home it was not as pictured and the entry was full of leaves, but when I opened the door, I was impressed with the charm and beauty of this place. It was spotless and very nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked, should you wish to cook. It's location is great! Jones street (don't forget to visit Mrs. Wilkes for lunch!) is two blocks away as well as Forsyth Park Fountain. Lucky Savannah has staff available after hours should there be any problems. Highly recommended!

Through the wrought iron gate down a couple of steps to the entry to a brick hallway. Very nice furnishings and ample storage, drawers and closets. A cozy living area (with your grandmother's uncomfortable fold out couch). A very nice kitchen with just about everything you would need. The courtyard is beautiful. Bathroom is functional but tight. Located close to beautiful Forsythe Park. Enjoyed the ease of catching tour trolley and the Saturday Market. Great location for exploring.Ok, the best part about old haunted Savannah. There is a motion sensor light in the entry hall. One night my partner told me she was awakened twice by the light coming on. I was not surprised. I heard the footsteps in the hall.Enjoy this magical and haunted piece of old Savannah!
