"They offer valet, which we declined. Staff sent us to the same parking lot their valet uses, which charged $25 for a few hours we were parked. We found a lot less than a block away that charged $5 for the entire night. Seems shady that the staff would send us to the overpriced lot without mentioning the significantly less expensive option "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is ideal, very close and walkable to the Riverwalk. Our room had a fantastic high-floor view overlooking the river. The hotel amenities are great, particularly the well-equipped gym and the rooftop pool. The breakfast was just okay, but everything else made for a solid stay. Overall it’s a wonderful place to stay and we'd return."

"I had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a unique atmosphere, gorgeous décor, and an amazing location right along the river. There is so much to see and do within walking distance, which made exploring Savannah very convenient. My room was comfortable and well maintained by Rosemarie, housekeeping staff., I really enjoyed the variety of restaurants, shops, and entertainment available right at the property. The rooftop restaurant views and overall ambiance were definitely highlights. The staff was welcoming and helpful, especially Makaila and Makenzy. The hotel felt upscale while still being relaxing and enjoyable. My only complaint is that there isn’t an ice machine on the 6th floor. I was told that the bar staff at the pool would provide ice. When I asked for ice, one of the bartenders said I could go down to the third floor because it will be a while before she could get to me. She was standing right in front of the ice machine behind the bar. I would definitely recommend the JW Marriott Plant Riverside District to anyone visiting Savannah. I look forward to staying here again!"

"Very disappointed the pool was closed. There was no notification anywhere. We chose this hotel because of the pool. Would have been nice to have because the temps were over 100 with the heat index. One the plus side, the hotel did upgrade us to a suite"
