About this property

Savannahs Most Beautiful Designer Home

  • Summary:

Featured in the September/October 2026 issue of Savannah Magazine as the "House of Moss," this beautifully restored 1915 home blends classic Savannah architecture with modern luxury. Featuring designer interiors, a chef's kitchen, spa-quality bathrooms, and a private outdoor courtyard, the property offers an elevated stay in one of the city's most charming residential neighborhoods.

    The Space:

This fully renovated historic residence features high ceilings, original details, curated furnishings, a gourmet kitchen, and elegant bedrooms with premium linens. The original columned parlor, divided-light French doors, and hardwood floors have been preserved, and the interiors by Studio Álvarez pair them with bold color, including a dining room finished in deep forest green, and original artwork by Colombian artist Juan Raúl Hoyos. The bathrooms are newly remodeled with luxurious finishes, and the home includes a quiet private courtyard ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation.

*** We also have two studio units in the carriage house in the backyard that can be rented if your group needs even more space — the Magnolia Suite and the Palmetto Suite — please search for them on your booking platform! ***

    Guest Access:

Guests have full private access to the entire home, including the kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, and outdoor courtyard. Entry is keyless, secured by a personalized digital code provided before arrival.

    The Neighborhood:

Located in the heart of Savannah’s Victorian District, the home sits on a picturesque, tree-lined street just steps from coffee shops, restaurants, and Forsyth Park. The area is peaceful, historic, and walkable, offering a true local experience with easy access to the Historic District.

    Getting Around:

The home is ideally located for walking, biking, or short rides to restaurants, shops, and the Historic District. Street parking is free and typically easy to find. Rideshares arrive quickly, and Forsyth Park is only a short stroll away.

    Other Things to Note:

This is a fully remodeled historic home with high-end finishes. Please be mindful of the quiet residential neighborhood. We cherish our relationship with our neighbors and we have zero tolerance for disruptive or disrespectful behavior. Detailed instructions for check-in, appliances, and parking will be provided before arrival.

    Interaction with Guests:

We provide guests with complete privacy during their stay. However, we are always available by message or phone if you need recommendations, assistance, or anything to make your visit more comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! It looked exactly like the photos and was perfect for our group of nine. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and having multiple bathrooms made getting ready so much easier. The location was great—we were able to walk to several wonderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We did take Ubers to River Street and the downtown area, but the rides were short and inexpensive. The neighborhood felt safe and was very walkable. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed for our six-day stay. The only minor challenge was parking. There is one parking space behind the house, but it was a tight fit for larger SUVs, so we relied mostly on street parking.Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting Savannah, especially larger groups. We would definitely stay here again!
