"Really thought this place was a cool spot to stay at. The room itself was really nice and cozy and the staff was super friendly and helpful. My only complaints ate that my room didn’t have any hot water — tried everything to make it work, but no matter what I did, only cold water. I assume that’s not an every room thing so take that with a grain of salt. I also didn’t know there was going to be expensive valet option only for parking, but that could have been an oversight on my part. The biggest thing about this place and why I’d definitely recommend is its location. It’s right downtown so everything you could possibly need is in walking distance. Overall, I definitely recommend."

"The hotel was empty and they put me in a room directly above construction. They were fully aware. They could have made the experience much better. The room was dated, the refrigerator was so loud I had to disconnect it. Just plain shabby and not at all what I expected. Waste of money"

"First time at Beaver Run Resort and was very happy with our stay. We had two small children and a dog and this place was perfect for our needs. Room is located right next to the pool and hot tub area which was very convenient. It’s also on the ground level and right next to ample amounts of parking so there was no need to pay for the parking garage. Best part was you can walk to Main Street! The resort itself is also great for families as there is a very large arcade room, multiple pools, little man ice cream, etc. I was also thrilled we could bring our pup along and he could go anywhere (except the pool area). The place itself was clean and just enough room for the 4 of us. The location is excellent and we can’t wait to come back!"

"During booking, I left a comment to the property as I did not see the room details in the final booking step. (I clicked on the 2 bedroom, 1 king/2 twin room choice, but that wasn't listed anywhere during checkout.) The property replied to me on Hotels.com messaging, and they showed me the exact unit I would be in and that it was a 1 king/1 queen 2 bedroom unit. I chatted with the property's support team (just an 800 number, not the front desk), and they told me it was too late to change anything, but they said they would make note of my request. I went ahead and also replied back to the original message on Hotels.com. The second response through messaging on hotels.com ended up being that they were able to switch me to a 1 king/1 bunk 2 bedroom unit, which was fine with me. I would suggest to confirm with the front desk if you are not certain about your choice during checkout. Once we got to the property, the unit was what we needed. We were impressed at all the dishes. The beds were fine. Overall the master bath was a good size, but the master shower was a little small. I was happy that the ceiling fan actually worked well in the master. The couches in the living room were well used, but since they were leather, they didn't turn me off like some fabric couches at hotels! Our stay was short, but everything was sufficient."
