Top Sawtooth National Recreation Area Hotel Reviews

Mountain Village Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay, wonderful location, beautiful hot springs!"

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Hailey Sun Valley

8/10 Good

"This hotel was just OK for me because the bed was quite stiff and the walls and floors were paper thin so early in the morning I could hear the people above me walking around and it sounded like elephants above me. The breakfast was pretty mediocre, and the staff assumed I checked out early because I left my room and came back before checkout and wanted to use the microwave and they would not let me. I feel like next-door would have been a better option."

Cozy Cabin in Stanley Basin!

10/10 Excellent

"Our family stayed at this beautiful cabin for 5 nights. Everything was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The kids loved the game room and all of the board games Nate provided. There were really thoughtful amenities as well. Both kitchens were even stocked with all of the equipment we needed to cook our meals! The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we were even able to watch a small plane circling around the nearby airport through the dining area windows while we ate dinner one night. Our family can’t wait to book this cabin again. (Hopefully next year!)"

Limelight Hotel Ketchum

10/10 Excellent

"Very clean and bright ! Breakfast was a ok for 2 mornings , basically eggs and sausage patties were the main ones . Only challenge was on the Main Street there should be a sign how to get to the lobby which was through the side street if you’re driving a car . Otherwise we’ll definitely be back"

Hampton Inn by Hilton Hailey Sun Valley

8/10 Good

"The room was clean and plenty of light. The included breakfast was surprising good, with lots of choices, both hot and cold. The only thing I did not like were the pillows. They were way to thick for me and nothing I tried would flatten them. I wish I had brought my own."

The Ultimate Lodge for retreats, family reunions or Destination Weddings

10/10 Excellent

"Wow! What a spectacular setting and great set up for our family reunion. Steve was very easy to work with, so much so that we often felt like a friend just said “you can all just stay at my house, just strip the beds when you are done”.The rooms were well insulated and the double doors on each side of the bedroom halls kept the activities unheard by those in the rooms. The water at the pond was cool and clear; we never did find the second lake. You might want to check on specifics of the kitchen if anything is important to you. It would have been nice to have the dishwasher they used to have, as we are not paper plate users. Over all, the kitchen was spacious for preparing all our shared meals and there was plenty of room in the 3 door commercial refrigerator, ovens and griddle stove top but the kitchen’s contents were a bit “hodgepodge.” For instance, there were 30 knives but none serrated or plenty of plates but only a few small bowls…good thing we didn’t make chili. :)The ice maker was a game changer to have…I couldn’t imagine this place without it as we kept cold drinks outside in coolers and when it was time to pack out, it was a necessity. Everything could use some tender loving care, but to find this beautiful setting below the magnificent Sawtooths with water to cool off in and for it to be able to accommodate our whole family was a blessing! We had such a fun time! Thank you Steve for sharing this incredible place with us; we hope to be back."
