Best place to stay in sayulita

This house, location, owners, property manager, and views are just absolutely the best. We absolutely enjoyed staying here and if we ever come back we would definitely stay here. The house is extremely comfortable and the views/location is breathtaking. Owners and property manager were very nice and accommodating. Thanks for letting us stay.

Great house with amazing views

Beautiful home in quiet area, the best part were the amazing views. Close enough to restaurants/bars but not right in the middle of it. We easily drove the golf cart to restaurants and main area at night and walked during the day. Across the street is the access to the beach, not the main beach area so it is a little quieter. The owners provide a lot of really useful info.

Spectacular Place, Perfect Location

My wife and I stayed six days in this absolutely perfect condo. The rooftop deck had perfect views of the beach. The condo was just steps from the beach and an easy 10 minute walk into town. The condo was perfectly equipped and well maintained. We stay in top-end condos all over the world and I would rate this as one of my favorites. I worked every morning from the rooftop and watched the sunrise. The neighborhood is quiet yet so close to everything. It's very safe, peaceful and feels like an oasis. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Book it if you can.

Memorable Christmas away

Casa Brooks in the town of Sayulita is a slice of laid-back paradise. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our first Christmas away from home. This experience beat any present we could have received by a mile! The villa is thoroughly charming and has tremendous views of the Pacific. We saw whales spouting from our balcony and enjoyed the sounds of the waves each night as we went to sleep. The town of Sayulita offers all you need. Buy local meats, seafood, and produce in town. Dine at awesome street taco stands or sophisticated dining spots. And it is all a short walk or golf cart ride away. The accommodations and the comfort of Casa Brooks are matched by their incredible representative that is responsive, professional, and extremely organized. We will be back!

Girls getaway

Location was fantastic and walkable to everything we needed. Condo was clean and well stocked with great views from the rooftop deck. Lots of stairs and no elevator in the building. No bottled water on site but we managed to find a delivery service. Rooftop deck door blew shut and locked us on the roof. Thankfully we had someone nearby to come rescue us.

Unbelievable Panoramic views

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was very close (right next to an amazing coffee shop) and personally we loved the steps back to return (got in an extra workout). The condo grounds were very nice & everyone was so nice. Sayulita was such an amazing fun town! We especially loved getting fresh produce 2 blocks down, drinks on the beach & best ever shrimp tacos. We had a few hiccups during the trip but they were managed well. I would have loved a water station in the condo and perhaps some throw blankets, but all in all- we it!!! We went to the farmers market on Friday and purchased freshly caught fish/ grilled it on the balcony- so delicious! We had so many favorite restaurants and wanted to go to so many more but didn’t have time. Watched whales most days from the balcony! We can’t wait to return!

The place had some really nice views. Very comfortable and clean. The manager was even able to have the room ready early for us to check-in. I really like that there were different balcony options -- this was particularly beneficial as the views face directly westward in April and the afternoon sun was strong. We would spend the morning to mid-afternoon on the main balcony and then in the afternoon we would use the upstairs terrace. One downside for the design of this place is that the third bedroom is on the terrace and isolated from the other bedrooms which may not work for young families. There is a construction site across from the house between the accommodations and ocean that are not visible in the photos. There was no inconvenience and no real disturbance to mention. One of the nights, there was loud music playing at one of the beach front hotels which could be heard IN our place but I do not remember it bothering us too much. The family did NOT enjoy the walk to town although it only took about 10-12 minutes. And, although it is not a long walk, in the heat of the morning and evening it was not enjoyed. We choose to drive after that first walk. Parking in town during high season can be challenging. This is a golf cart city and it would have been very nice to have one - -which we did not.The pool was also a favorite of the kids. The house also came with beach chairs and umbrellas which was nice.

Fantastic property and great stay

This property was perfect for our family of four. The property is in great shape and has everything you need. It is well thought out with beach chairs, towels, cooking utensils and even provided flashlights that were nice when you walked into town during the evenings. Binoculars to view the whales was a plus. The location was perfect. We were on the less utilized portion of the beach. It was not crowded at all. The owners provide an information packet that is great. It lists everything you could want to do and lets you know cost and rates the restaurants. It is a very well thought out and comprehensive packet. I can't think of anything else they could have provided for our stay. We will definitely go back!

Disappointed

Our stay of 10 days was not as expected. A new resort building was under construction next door and the resulting noise was constant and loud 7:30 am to 5:00 pm every day except Sun. The railings on our building were also being replaced so the grinding and hammering contributed to the noise and lots of dust everywhere. Had to wipe things down every day. Great view of numerous whales from the deck and recommended medical assistance for one of our group was very good.

Awesome location and views!

Our time at Casa Brooks for Christmas was so special. We were all blown away by the views, the decks, the layout of the home and the décor. We settled in immediately because the place was so well equipped, organized and welcoming. Very spacious, yet we utilized all of it. From the deck off our main living area, to cocktails every night on the rooftop deck watching the sunset, to a very special Christmas dinner on our private rooftop deck, we loved it all. Everyday there was a treat and we all felt so fortunate to be there. The location is perfect. Steps to the quieter part of the beach. Great eateries close by and still an easy walk into town. The complex was quiet. People friendly. The pool area was fabulous. The property manager was great. The kitchen was well equipped including coffee, spices, lots of pots and cooking utensils. Nice beach chairs, fluffy towels and spotless. Perfect for family with two young adults as the parents have the rooftop private bedroom and two private queen rooms off living room floor. Highly recommend: 10/10.

Nice condo on the north side

Pros:-Great location to be away from the noisy nightlife of the main plaza. The only night noises were delightful jungle crickets.-Main living area had good AC.-Awesome sunset views from the balconies and pool area.-Easy and close access to the beach, which was a short walk across the street.-Spacious and ample bathrooms.-Sayulita is an awesome little town and I can see why folks like this condo for long-term stays.*Recommend getting a golf cart, as it is 15-minute walk to main plaza.Cons:-Within 5 minutes of arriving, there was a power outage which we later found out was building-wide. This caused a great deal of confusion and it was after-hours so the property manager was unavailable. Luckily it came back on within 20 minutes and didn't go out for the rest of the stay. -The kitchen was a little spare, but workable. We were able to cook breakfasts and snacks with no problem.-The master bedroom AC was not working great throughout the stay.-The toilet in one of the bathrooms had a problem. The property manager arranged for someone to fix it the next day, which was appreciated.

1 1/2 blocks and 103 stairs to the beach

Pros- The condo and views are beautiful. AC and WiFi work great. The kitchen is equipped with high-quality cookware/utensils. The pool is divine! The facts- it’s 1 1/2 blocks and 103 stairs to the beach, but that area of the beach is best for strolling and sunset watching. The waves can be rough! It’s about a 10 minute walk into town and the more populated, calmer beaches. (Still, keep your wits about you. The currents can be unpredictable.) There are little tiendas (stores) sprinkled around, but no big stores. Yummy restaurants near and far. We cooked a fair amount and did not rent a golf cart. Some of us loved the walk to and from the condo - others weren’t as excited by the stairs. Cons- a few, easily fixed issues. 1. It would have been nice to have a FULL 5 gallon jug of drinking water to start us out, rather than an empty one, even if you don’t want to supply the whole week. We ended up boiling water (one minute kills bacteria and viruses) all week long to avoid buying more plastic bottles. It worked fine and no one got sick. 2. Ditto soap and shampoo in the bath. 3. The arrangement with the cleaner is that she comes before and after our stay. We took care of all our own needs during the week- garbage, laundry, sweeping, etc. As such, the somewhat demanding request for a tip, posted in English, was annoying. We paid, since it’s not her fault (AND we left the house in good order), but tipping a person we never saw felt off. Overall- great trip and wonderful locale.

Sayulita Trip with Kids

I stayed down here in August 2022 with my three daughters (ages 11, 15, and 15) and one of their friends. The condo was great for our group, with the kids staying in the two rooms downstairs, and me staying upstairs. The condo was clean and there was a ton of information about things to do and places to eat. The pool at the condo complex was great for when we wanted to just hang out and relax. The location of the condo was a 5-minute golf cart ride to the center of town. Killer sunset views from the main floor and rooftop area. Two things for visitors. First, limit the amount of money you exchange at the airport - you can get pesos from the bank or ATMs throughout town, and your bank will give you a significantly better exchange rate than the airport. Second, the golf cart was great for us - just know that you're limited to a 4-seater golf cart. All in all a great condo, in a great location at an incredibly fair price. I suspect we'll be back and stay here again!

Exceeded expectations

The information provided prior to the stay by the property manager Marusa made the trip. Between recommendations and arrangements we didn’t miss a beat, including: airport transportation, golf cart rental, private chefs, places to eat, onsite massages, etc. The views were spectacular, Casa Brooks had everything we needed and then some.

Extraordinary panoramic views and sunsets!

Very well equipped home and lots of info provided in a binder by owners. There was an ant problem in the kitchen and the upstairs was pretty buggy. But overall, a great place. We were without running water for 1 of 4 days, and one of the other days we were serenaded by very noisy construction next door. That was a bummer and I wish we could be comped for those issues.

A perfect stay in Sayulita

We love Sayulita and have stayed in other units in the Monterosa complex before which we enjoy for the location, view and pool. Casa Brooks in the best of the best. The rooftop lounge is really comfortable with the big couch. The view from there is unpaparlleled. The unit is really well kept and detailed- plenty of sunscreen and beach toys, kitchen ware etc. The owners are super responsive. Any questions, or problems you have, Chris and Lisa are on it immediately. They even offered to ship a couple of shirts my son left there. It’s a beautiful place run by lovely people. It’s quite a find!
