"This was the first time staying in this hotel and all I can say is WOW. All the staff that I engaged with on reception or breakfast were wonderful. Every member were polite and helpful and so very thoughtful. They were all well presented. The cleanliness was 100% in all areas. The room was wonderful, cosey and we had a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was really nice hats off to the chef. Thank you to all the staff for making our time a memorable one. We will definitely coming booking here again without a doubt x 10/10 🙌"

"Stopped for just one night, check in was okay. We had a room on the 3rd floor, the lift only goes as far as the 2nd, so worth noting if you struggle with stairs. Our room was at the rear of the property, so the 'view" was of the poorly maintained properties sof which sadly there are plenty in Scarborough so not fantastic. Room was sufficient for one night, bathroom was modern with a walk in rain shower. Breakfast had plenty of choices of fruit, cereal and pastries. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was from a hot counter, freshly cooked would have been so much nicer."

"Hotel is victorian and has a lot of character, some parts need a little updating. However staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was good. Room was spacious and clean, we had a great night's sleep but didn't opt for breakfast."
