"The hotel location is prime, near central Aachen city hall and the cathedral. It is a ā€œno-friillsā€ hotel, but that was ok and as expected. The rooms are neat and clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent AC in rooms. The bathroom was very basic with little shelf space, but it was clean and acceptable. Did not try the breakfast buffet since I did not pay for in advance and the staff at the desk said they required advance purchase ā€œso they can make enough breadā€. I did see another staff member allow another family to pay same day on the following day. The vending machines in the lobby were well stocked w sodas, beer and snacks, but that is the only food available on site, aside from brunch. We would stay here again for location, value, cleanliness, but not if looking for a memorable European hotel experience."
