I suggest preparing coffee carafes to be served at the table as an option. I could imagine busy breakfast time volumes are not a surprise so it was odd that the hotel seemed unprepared. The hotel parking is good, just must watch your turn radius when coming into the ticket area. Call to get the exact address of the garage.
