Great little hotel

Charming hotel with easy access to Heidelberg and walkable to stores. Great front desk clerk and large rooms

Clean and basic

This is a very basic hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable but it is a basic hotel. It does offer breakfast which is limited for an added 12 euro per person. The reception staff were helpful. There are ample free parking spots. The area is slightly further out from Manheim so it is useful to have a car if visiting as taxis are expensive. Otherwise a very basic hotel which provides a clean room but not a huge amount else.

Little touches made it great.

Receptionist made check in experience very easy with fluent English. He was also friendly and helpful with local facilities and travel advice. This all made for a lovely experience and a great visit to the local brauhaus, which was within easy 15 minute walking distance (definitely walk and leave car at hotel). Sweets and toy duck for child were a lovely treat, thank you.

The WiFi had issues all week, the room was dirty and had bugs in it, the staff were rude and unhelpful (except for Sara), the breakfast was overpriced and had limited options. I will never stay there again.

Very out of the way, not easy access to heidelberg. Asked for extra pillows repeatedly and never recieved it. Nearby eating establishments all smokers joints. Especially noisy in mornings. Good cost for the quality.

Staff is nice but hotel is outdated. I paid for a 3 person room and hotel.com charged an extra fee for the third person. When I checked in, the hotel charged me an additional extra fee for the roll away bed for the third person - very upsetting

Checkin hat gut geklappt,freundlich.Parken gratis,super.Hatten 2 Übernachtungen ohne Frühstück. Bett war groß und sehr bequem.Ringsherum gab es mehrere Geschäfte und zum Essen.Hatten ein Doppelzimmer,alles ok,ein Nachtisch mehr wäre gut.Zur Innenstadt war es nicht weit.

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig für den Preis, die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und unser Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Das Personal am Empfang und die Dame, welche den Frühstücksraum organisiert, macht einen super Job. Preis-Leistung passt, wir kommen wieder.

Netter Aufenthalt mit überaschendem Upgrade

Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen und uns sehr gefreut. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig. Die Matratzen waren allerdings nicht so gut relativ weich und dünn und nicht so hochwertig. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätte sich definitiv mein Rücken bemerkbar gemacht. Am und um die Betten herum gibt es keine Steckdosen. Für Leute mit Schlafmaske oder sonstigen elektronischen Geräten die nachts gebraucht werden, sollte man definitiv ein Verlängerungskabel einstecken. Ich lade immer ganz gerne mein Handy nachts und benutze es als Wecker. Das ging in dem Fall nicht.

Leider haben zuviele Punkte nicht gepasst: - Heizung ließ sich nicht abstellen (war also viel zu warm zum Schlafen) - Wlan ging trotz Beschwerde an der Rezeption und angeblichem Routerneustart nicht (ich brauchte es zum Arbeiten) - Gratis-Wasserflasche laut Website wird seit einem Jahr nicht mehr hingestellt - Ablauf im Waschbecken lief nur sehr langsam ab (also sehr wahrscheinlich einiges an Dreck drin ... ich habe nicht weiter geschaut) Zimmer an sich war sauber und das Bett bequem.
