Great getaway

I needed a place to spend a few days in prayer and Bible study. This was the perfect place. It is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The cabin was comfortable and had everything I needed to be able to focus on why I was here.

Enjoyable Getaway

This is a quaint and comfortable Lakeside cottage in a quiet neighborhood. It’s definitely a good value for the amenities provided. We brought our kayaks and managed to get through the weedy shoreline out to the pristine lake for some nice paddling.

Beautiful property! Plenty of space for us. So pretty and peaceful. One of nicest cabins i have stayed in and an incredibly exceptional price!! Thoroughly enjoyed are time there. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Relaxing stay

The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and easy to find. This cabin is definitely not boater friendly. The driveway is very steep and has a hairpin turn at the bottom. We were very glad we didn’t bring our boat. There needs to be better communication about the electronic door lock and the fact that you had to turn on the party light to turn the tv on on the porch.

Cozzy home wish i could buy it lol

It was a great experience we were able to go out on the poarch at night because the screen kept mosquitoes and other bugs away the swing is in a beautiful spit the televisions had somebodys netflix still on it so we got free tv too, already had plates cookware glasses utensils, me and my girlfriend made dinner for my family, the bathroom is just sexy theres nothing else to say its just sexy although...the door does open a little easy if your elbow hits it or your arms in general but beautiful place

The weekend was very enjoyable. The area is peaceful and quiet. It did get cool and there were no throw blankets available in the cabin. So, we purchased one The property is well maintained and the checkin and checkout were very easy. It has great amenities outdoors but it was too windy to have an outdoor fire. The wood was readily available. We may have missed a description on the driveways. They are steep. We struggled to find network channels on the TV. There are plenty of stations on the TV but we missed out on some football viewing. The TV has loads of subscription channels available but you just need to be prepared to log-in. We brought our computer so we were able to watch through that by hooking up an HDMI cable to the TV. One added feature would be to add a walkway past the reeds for fishing. It would not have to be a boat dock. Again, very enjoyable to sit, relax, and watch nature.

We had an excellent stay. The house is great, screened in back porch was wonderful and bedding was dreamy! My wife wanted to steal the pillows so now i must research. Only drawback is the steep drive, especially with a boat but was still manageable! Will return next trip to Guntersville!

Quiet & Cozy

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the lake. After a full day of exploring the Guntersville/Scottsboro area, it was fantastic to come back to this quiet little cottage. Spring time was amazing here as well. Each morning was like waking up in a rainforest with all of the birds and frogs singing to each other. The cottage was quaint, clean, and just the right size for my wife and I. The screened in deck gave a us a beautiful view of the woods and lake and did a great job keeping the bugs out. The large windows and sliding glass doors gave us the same view even from inside the cottage. Thanks so much for a great experience!
