    The Space:

    This stunningly engineered two-story home offers an oceanfront location with unsurpassed views and a unique octagon-shaped construction. Sunshine fills the main level, and panoramic views stretch all the way from the mouth of the Columbia River to the north to Tillamook Head just south of Seaside. The beach and ocean surround you, with beach access just outside.



    On the main level, you'll find a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, plus two beautifully appointed bedrooms, one with its own bathroom. You'll also have a spacious, sun-filled living room and dining area, plus another full bathroom. In the center of the home is a spiral staircase that leads down to the lower level, with two more bedrooms and a full bath. You'll marvel at the structural beams that give this home its unique distinction. You'll have plenty of outdoor space as well. With a wraparound deck in the front, perfect for sun worshiping and picnics. Another deck in the back is perfect for the morning cup of coffee and newspaper.

Absolutely stunning views and locale. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did not use the downstairs as it had a creepy vibe. But overactive imaginations aside, a nice sized house with views that make up for any ghosts or older furnishings.

Very comfortable, amazing view, very good kitchen setup, homey, plenty of space to spread out and get some alone time, ideal location, couldn't be closer to the beach without washing away at high tide. I missed my lazyboy rocking chair and small dogs, but if it were perfect I'd never want to leave, and that would be problematic. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it unconditionally

The view is great, the location is great. The spiral staircase is dangerous had too many close calls, had to put the couch in front of the stairs to prevent people from accidentally falling down the stairs. Overall a cool house and glad we stayed.

Location, location, location!

We loved this home! We had 5 adults and one toddler. Having 4 bedrooms worked out well! We had pretty much all that we needed and enjoyed it’s unique style. You can’t beat the location - it’s a few minutes walk on the path through the sand dunes to the never ending beach! Relaxing on the deck was a daily pastime as was enjoying the amazing sunsets! We hope to be back some day!

Great vacation spot for Seaside

Great location just outside the hustle of downtown seaside but close to the boardwalk. Short walk to the beach and wonderful view through the unique octagon shape. You feel like you're surrounded by the ocean. The property is no pets and it shows, it was so clean; no sand anywhere if you can believe it. We put all the kids downstairs and they had their own space and adults had their own space upstairs. We really enjoyed our stay.

The house is nice, fairly clean. Close to the beach. there is not much yard to let children play outside. The BBQ needs to be replaced. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are adequate.

great location

It's a 100 yard walk to the beach through dunes. Just a block or two away from the promenade. There is plenty of space and a large closet that would be great for a play pen. There are no black out curtains in the rooms, the tub drained slowly. It's an old house that hasn't been updated much but not terrible. Great price for a great view and access to the beach. We had a lovely trip.

What an amazing home! The views are stunning, the beach access was wonderful and the house was perfect! The beds were so incredibly comfortable, house was very clean, we had such a great time! I was a bit nervous about the stairs with an almost 3 year old but he did amazing with them! The backyard was a great play place for him and did i mention the views were INCRECIBLE! We will for sure be back!

Very beautiful location and character to the home. Rented for our 10 year anniversary for a few days. Enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Everything was clean except for some dusty trim here and there. House has no deadbolts on the doors, but felt secure in the neighborhood and at night. Slept very well and beds were comfy! Quick drive to the main strip or could walk if you wanted to! Everything you need I close by and very friendly people we interacted with. It's was fun to watch the storm that rolled in on us, so we watched the beach and played board games. It was a perfect home away from home! Would 1000% rent it again!

Our Sibling Get-Away

The house was stocked with so much! It was wonderful. The floor trim and heat registers were dusty. A well-chewed straw was found in the couch. Dirt inside the sheets of the downstairs queen bed in children's room was found. Dried milk was on the side of the table. But overall - it was clean. I love that there was no carpet. So much easier to clean the floors that way. The entrance door scared us as it was not a secure door! It was an inside door and shuttered when the wind blew. No way to deadbolt from the inside to feel secure. A good kick would knock that door down! We loved all the modern updates. The house was absolutely perfect for our sibling reunion. Perhaps I am just too picky on house cleaning methods. We would definitely stay there again!

Great view and location - not as clean as most places

The property is as advertised. We had a great view of the ocean and the property slept the advertised amount of people in real beds. No folding couches of futons which was a plus for my family. What you need to know: This property is one of the most unique houses I have ever been in. Due to the shape of the house, some of the rooms are unusually shaped as well. For example, the kitchen is more of a triangle with one ‘point’ being an external door and a tiny space for the washer and dryer. Similarly, the bedrooms are shaped strangle too. However, the bedrooms are easy navigate and are a nice size. Downstairs, the room with the queen bed and twin bed has an accordion retractable wall. This means privacy, but no real sound dampening. If someone was watching tv in that room, the rest of downstairs will likely hear it. In addition, the steps to get to the ground level, are a spiral. Sounds fun at first, until you are actually using them. They are steep and narrow. Some of our group just used the external door at ground level instead of the internal spiral staircase. This was find during the summer, probably won’t be in the rainy season. The floors were not clean. Our socks turned black after only a few minutes walking around. I have rented several places at the beach and know sand is usually on the floor. This was much more than beach sand! It was dirt and hair and miscellaneous other debris including burrs from outside that felt like needles stabbing our feet when we accidentally stepped on them.
