About this property

4BR Historic Home with Charm & Timeless Soul

  • Summary:

Welcome to our lovingly curated 1903 gem—a true collector’s piece that’s been thoughtfully nurtured over the past 17 years. This home is a labor of love, blending timeless historic charm with just the right touch of modern comfort. Tucked into a classic Seattle neighborhood, it offers the perfect balance: peaceful residential living just a comfortable stroll from the vibrant heart of downtown.

A unique thread runs through every room here: typewriters.

    The Space:

Collected from around the world, each typewriter has its own story and is displayed with care and intention. From vintage European models to mid-century American classics, this home pays homage to the beauty of words, writing, and the creativity they inspire. It’s a space that invites you to slow down, reflect, and maybe even tap out a message of your own.

Inside, the layout has been designed with comfort in mind. The kitchen is set apart from the dining and living spaces, perfect for cooking and gathering. The main suite—just off the kitchen—features a private bath and opens directly to the backyard, while the upstairs bedrooms offer tucked-away coziness for restful nights. With four bedrooms total (two with king beds, one with a double bed, and one with a twin chaise lounge), there’s room to unwind or work in peace.

East-facing 'fishbowl' windows bathe the living area in soft morning light, while the wood-burning fireplace offers the perfect excuse to cozy up on a chilly Seattle evening. Share meals and conversation around the big dining table, or relax with WiFi, cable, and Netflix after a day of exploring.

Out back, the patio and gas grill are ready for summer barbecues or quiet morning coffee. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this home offers something rare—a warm, storied space filled with soul, history, and character.

We can’t wait to welcome you. This is more than a place to stay—it’s a home filled with stories, and maybe yours is next.

Quirky and comfy

We loved this house! It was perfect for us and our two teens for a week in Seattle. It's spacious and comfortable with the perfect amount of quirks. The neighborhood was fun to explore, we found great places to eat and enjoy the lake. Would absolutely stay here again.
