  • This 1929 house in the Central District has recently been remodeled with new floors and walls, and a new kitchen and an extra half bathroom upstairs. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Have coffee on the back deck. Hop the First Hill streetcar down to the International District and Pioneer Square, or over to Broadway on Capitol Hill. Take the buses to anywhere in Seattle. Walk to Pratt Park and Broadcast Coffee.

House was great. Needed to stay near the Swedish Cherry Hill campus for a week. Easy walk and house was very comfortable. Beds were great as well. Communication with the host was fast and easy. I would happily stay here again in the future.

This is a beautifully renovated vintage home that is comfortable and clean. We had a lovely stay for two nights with enough sleeping options to keep my two kids happy. The new air conditioning system worked great, with each bedroom having control of their own temperature. Extra blankets and comfortable pillows in varying levels of firmness made everyone happy. Close to downtown it was easy for us to drive back and forth, but we also had the option of transit if we’d wanted it. The lack of designated parking was a bit of a bummer, but we were always able to find a place nearby with a few laps of the neighborhood. Check in was easy, house was clean. Loads of space for the kids to play - the various stuffed animals throughout the house were a HUGE hit. Would absolutely stay here again, the kids already can’t want to go back.

Charming house, loved the decor. Location was perfect. Unfortunately we visited during a heat wave and the house was very warm and made sleeping upstairs uncomfortable. Also wished there was a tv for down time. However we had a great time playing games and enjoyed our stay.

Had a lovely time staying here! The house is very charming and a great location for us as we were dropping our kid off at Seattle U. The house has everything you'd need. Thanks for the coffee! :) Neighborhood is quiet and street parking wasn't an issue. Also Christa is a very responsive host when I had questions. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great stay in Seattle

We enjoyed our stay very much, kids loved finding stuffed animals, puzzles and books at the house. Easy access to all parts of town by car and street car. Kids loved the street car rides to the docks and the short walk to the pike market from there. Christa was very responsive during stay and helpful before our arrival with many tips and ideas for places to visit.

Perfect house for a weekend getaway

Spent a couple of nights in Seattle with my husband and friends and this house was perfect place to rest and regroup before embarking on all of our activities. The place was super clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay. It was located far enough from the busy parts of the city to be quiet but close enough to be a short commute from the stadium, waterfront and night life. Would highly recommend and book again!

Our time at Christa’s rental was even better than we could have imagined. The location was perfect for catching the bus into the city and getting to a few local stores and restaurants by foot! It was also a great, comfortable place to come back to relax and cook family dinners after a day of exploring. The home itself was incredibly spacious with all of the amenities we could have ever desired. We made magical memories and are forever grateful to Christa for being such a gracious host. We hope to come back and stay again in March! :•)

Christa was a very responsive and helpful host, letting us leave our luggage at the house early so we didn’t have to lug it around for hours! Location of home is not ideal if you’re looking to be surrounded by shops, restaurants etc but we just Ubered wherever we went. It also allowed us to find a couple of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and other activities away from the downtown district.

Loved this cozy, centrally located house

Staying in the this cozy house added so much to our visit to Seattle. Christa knew we were bringing two young children so left lots of stuff toys, books and games. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Parking our two cars was not a problem for us. We loved the neighborhood and would strongly recommend this rental to our friends visiting Seattle.

My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home! From start to finish, our host was incredibly gracious, providing excellent communication and ensuring everything went smoothly. Planning for a Seattle trip, We looked at hotels close to the train and other properties close to downtown, but this property came up, and we were excited to see it was available to us. This is our first VRBO, and the platform was good. I will admit that I didn't check the amenities very well, and thought it had A/C. It doesn't, but other than the first day, the weather was great for the middle of summer. The property is close to bus transportation, so we never rented a car. Seattle is a wonderful place to play, and this property is a nice place to spend time with the family. Another plus for the property is it has no TV's, but it does have excellent WiFi. We hope that the property will be available when we come visit Seattle in the future!

Urban Cutie

While located in a neighborhood, it is urban with associated urban sounds and sights. If you're a light sleeper you might benefit from earplugs. Very clean, roomy and cozy house with all the amenities needed for a self-sufficient, comfortable stay. Terrific coffee pod selection. Your host, Christa, is very responsive; check-in was a breeze. It's convenient to public transportation and also not too long of a walk to downtown tourist areas. Lime scooters and e-bikes were never far away which was another fun way to get around. I would stay again.

Excellent house in a great neighborhood!

We had a great stay at this beautifully remodeled house and Christa was a wonderful host! The house is in a great location...super close to downtown and the stadiums, and is in a highly walkable neighborhood. There are several great options for food and coffee just a few blocks away and everywhere we went was delightful. Christa was a great communicator throughout the whole process and provided everything we needed in the home. The only "negative" thing about the location is the parking...it is only street parking for this house and there are some limitations due to its presence by the hospital. I only call that out as "negative" as there is space you can park temporarily for loading/unloading in front of the house if there are no openings right there...other than that I never had an issue finding a spot more than a block away. Christa was up front about the parking situation and was super helpful by providing a map of the area showing where it was OK to park. I would 100% stay here again if visiting the downtown Seattle area!

Property was clean and easy to access. The layout of the home was a bit odd (main rooms upstairs, but main bathroom downstairs), but it worked for our needs. The mattresses were quite hard and made sleeping less comfortable than expected. Price was good relative to other options in the city, but still quite high. With how much we spent on ride share to get downtown, I'm not sure we saved much money
