The property itself is fine. It is a typical motel 6 property. The issue was staff and noise. I got there at 9:30 in the morning and asked for an early check in. I was informed that they didn’t have any rooms. Which ok, that’s totally fine, I’m the one who’s early. However I asked since I’m so early can I have a top floor. He said he’d put it in the notes. I said thank you and left. Came back around 6:30 (not that late) and not only was I not the top, I was the exact middle. I asked about the note and she said there was no notes and they were fully booked and everything was “pre assigned”. Now I hate to pull this card.. I know the way it seems, but I used to work in hospitality and I know you can pre assign, but you can switch that. Some are special reserved, etc, but it wasn’t late like midnight, it was 6:30. There’s no reason outside of just not wanting to that I couldn’t be moved to a top floor. She offered to switch me to a top floor the next day but I would be gone from 7am to 10pm the next night. I didn’t argue I took my key and left. Again room itself was fine, my only complaint was the bed was one of the hardest beds iv ever slept on. I woke up sore. Outside of that, First night was tough but I got by. The second night however.. was so dang loud I had to leave. Cut my losses and booked a different hotel.
