"Great staff , close to everything downtown "

"Where to start, the moment you walk in, you are greeted with multiple Nova Scotian smiles. Warm vibe, chic, with an extra boost of artistry and whimsy for all. The restaurant serves some of the best food ever! They offer complementary, delicious refreshers for guests, along with the best coffee and hot chocolate daily, and a wide variety of snacks for those late night munchies. While all working here have been outstanding, I must say, Sean and Bella, go above and beyond - from excellent service, outstanding knowledge of the menu and, just so lovely, kind and like all here - incredibly beautiful people.  The rooms are cozy, the rain shower is a game changer, and no carpet on floors along with very meticulous cleaning made my sleeps a lot more sound and very comfortable.  Location is perfect - you can literally walk anywhere, and when you come back to your hotel at night - there will always be happy, shiny people, to make you feel safe and welcome! "The hotel was nice, staff was helpful, pool area was great, rooms were clean and comfortable, but it was loud! When we were in our room we could hear quite a bit of noise from the hall (people talking, kids running), there were weird tapping noises in the morning (couldn't tell where they were coming from) and the construction at the new hospital across the street started before 7am (weekdays) with some loud thumping."

"For the dollar value, off season rate, it was a great deal. At first glance it is beautiful and the room was impressive with all its lights lit up. But the shock and awe stops there. It was freezing cold, the temperature was 65 degrees not just in the room but in the main common areas as well. I turned on the heat pump, and the fireplace and after an hour I had to call and as for the heat to be turned up. The heat pump was installed in the worst place, with a wall opposite it about 2 feet away, so the heat would only heat up that tiny space and shut off no matter how warm you set it. The fireplace was more for show than actual heat because it didn’t give off much warmth. All the doors stuck so you had to push and pull them hard and that meant you heard doors banging a lot from the other rooms. The jacuzzi took absolutely forever to fill because you filled it from the handheld shower head. The sauna never heated past 80 degrees and that took 5 hours to get up to there. I really didn’t like that there was no bathroom door so you had no privacy at all. I opened a drawer to look for a hair dryer and found it full of garbage left from a previous guest. In the morning the continental breakfast wasn’t set out, was ordered and confirmed in a previous text, so I texted wondering where we could find it. We ended up checking out and going to a restaurant, but did receive a response saying she had a flat tire and was sorry about my inconvenience. No text message letting me know. "

"Had a lovely overnight stay. The weather wasn’t the greatest but we made the most of it. The hot tub was something our group was looking forward to and they were happy to be able to use it with no issues. The unit was very clean including the hot tub and towels were prepared for our arrival. We were happy to find lots of games onsite and played a few rounds and had some big laughs. Location was perfect proximity to downtown plus it was easy to get to as well. The host was fantastic and was communicative the whole stay. I’ll definitely be looking for this listing the next time I come to town. "
