Acadia is about 45 min away, but a beautiful drive! The cabin was perfect to get away from crowds and have lots of peace and quiet. The host was very helpful with all of our needs and making us feel welcome.
Everything was perfect, for what we needed. The place was spotless, and still smells new. The hosts were gracious.

Absolutely loved this private tiny home. Very quiet and private location. Super clean as it is brand new. I saw deer in the yard each night I stayed. Bed was comfy. Only 1 hr away from Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Beautiful sunset spot 10 minutes away at caterpillar hill. I would definitely book again
Thoughtful, comfortable, cozy space for two; owned and run by the on-site homeowners who seem to truly care about their guests' experience; it's a really great spot and we would definitely book again if/when in the area. We were traveling for our anniversary and our hosts left us a really nice card and some chocolates and it was such a nice gesture and so appreciated! Many thanks for everything!
This wonderful space had a wonderfully peaceful vibe! All of the amenities worked well and the space was very updated. We had absolutely zero issue with anything in the home or the games garage. We did speak with the host and he is an absolute wealth of knowledge on the area and is so willing to help in any way needed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Beautiful property with very gracious and friendly hosts. The location was great and only 10 minutes to town and 1 hour from Acadia National Park. We had a great stay!
The tiny home was so comfortable — the hosts were exceptional and really made their space feel like home. There were so many little details: laundry supplies, a stocked drink fridge, their extensive recommendations in the guidebook, and even a welcome gift with a personalized card!
We were completely satisfied with the house! Dan and Tammy have done a great job creating a "tiny" getaway. The house is well constructed and decorated. We did a load of laundry were happy to go home with all clean clothes! We would definitely consider staying again if we return to the area!
This tiny house was all we hoped it would be and more. It was super cute and so well equipped with everything we needed. Dan and Tammy were amazing host from beginning to end. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay near Bar Harbor. Ray & Stacy
This tiny home is the perfect getaway spot for anyone who wants to get away from the crowd. Simple accommodations with just the right homey touches. Lovely wooded property near Blue Hill.
I unfortunately got to the property after dark and mistook their house for the tiny home, but Dan came right out and showed me around despite it being dark out! Very sweet of them! I loved staying there and wish I booked the whole week, I will definitely be back!!
This efficient little space has everything a traveler needs in a quiet, beautiful setting. It's remote, but not far from Blue Hill and well within reach of Acadian National Park. It would make a great venue for an artist's retreat.
The tiny home was perfect! It was beautifully decorated and offered everything I needed. From the welcome card and gifts to the much-needed laundry facilities, it was my favorite stay in a two-week trip. This is actually the nicest short-term rental I've had the pleasure of visiting. I wish I'd had more time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the home and the deer that were almost on my doorstep. I'll be back!
I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot.
Excellent stay! We really enjoyed the Tiny Home for our visit to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. The house had everything we could need. The owners put much thought into each detail. Check in and check out was super easy with the owners reaching out with the access code ahead of time. It was super nice they provided water bottles and soda for us to enjoy! The only thing I would add to the Tiny Home would be a full-length mirror. Even something small placed on the bathroom door would be super helpful. The Tiny Home is literally across the yard from the owners if you need anything. They stated in our welcome email if we needed anything to let them know as they lived on the property. The turn off for the house creeps up on you, so definitely go slow and pay attention to when you get close. The area does not have much cell reception. We found the best thing was to download an offline map on our iPhone Maps App of the Tiny Home and Acadia NP locations that way we can still use our phone maps without cell service. If you are unfamiliar with this, it is a SUPER convenient thing to have. There were a few restaurants in the area, however many of them seem to close early (any night of the week) or are not open on Sundays. Blaze Brewery was gracious enough to still make us a pizza even though their hours online said that they were closed. We were very thankful, as then we didn't have to drive 30 minutes to Ellsworth to get something to eat.
