The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The view from the window was stunning, adding to the relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful vista, food was great (strongly recommend doing a dinner reservation AND a breakfast reservation) owner was extremely kind and generous. He spoke better English than I spoke Japanese, which made it extremely easy to meet in the middle. 10/10 experience.

This was one of the best experiences Iāve had traveling. The onsen was incredibly beautiful, clean, and serene, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food especially stood out as one of the best meals Iāve had in Japan. I highly, highly recommend this onsen!

The family friendly atmosphere is wonderful. My kids didn't want to leave. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and huge. Dinner was yummy too. Portion sizes are big. We can't wait to come stay again. Nao San is a great hostess.

I stayed two nights here to see magome and tsumago. The hotel was the best hotel of my trip in Japan offering traditional japanese breakfast and dinner as well as a wonderful onsen. The staff was incredible and kind helping me even though I cannot speak Japanese. I cannot recommend this Hotel enough if you are planning on visiting this part of the Nakasendo Trail.
