It was a superb experience at Four Points Sheraton, Sesimbra. Nice rooms, amazing staff and the breakfast was one of the best we ever had. Will surely be visiting this place again.

Comfortable hotel close to centre and beach

Nice but short stay. Great breakfast and comfortable family room. Pool area great but indoor pool out of action for refurb. Short walk downhill to centre and beach but shuttle available for pick up back to hotel

Sesimbra in our hearts

What an amazing stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my every whim was met. We loved the hotel, we loved Sesimbra and we loved it's people.

We got a room with a strange smell (smelled to us like some water mold but werent sure) there solution was to only spray some air refreshner cause that is so healthy. We had a shower with mold on it that wasnt fixed even a day later. After a lot of complaining we finally got a new room that at first "wasn't available" in that new room we had sheets on our bed with some red stains so we had to complain again. And after all that complaining and all those issues we never heard either just a sorry or got some compensation for the state of their rooms we only got looks like we weren't taken seriously or like "oh no there we got those people again". It was overal a very dissapointing hotel in terms of overall service.

The room had no functioning AC and it was very hot. Desapointment considering the price we paid for the room. Although the staff at reception was very kind and helpful. Some staff at the restaurant were not very friendly or attentive and seemed annoyed everytime we needed something. They seemed much friendlier with Guests who spoke portugese. We are canadian and we recieved not in the same fashion. Dinner buffet was very expensive at 32euros for the food that was there.....it was not quality food and always the same every night....also the price didnt include water to drink. Overall the resort, pool and the room for very nice. But all the rest was average.

An absolutely superb hotel. outstanding service and superb restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. very helpful to have our small dog in the room. We will most certainly stay there if/when we are next in the area

Stay in Sesimbra at Four Points Sheraton

We stayed two nights here at the end of our 10 day trip, mainly to relax and get ready for the drive into Lisbon airport. It was absolutely perfect for that purpose. The room was adequate and spacious with a small patio and a small grassy area overlooking the pool. If you like space, I would recommend this room, which was not one of the more expensive ones. The complimentary breakfast was expansive and delicious. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town, so you might want to take an Uber. Although the walk up to the top of the castle was awesome.

Communication is key

After some unexpected check-in challenges, the overall visit was good. Staff could take some time to provide advice what is happening at least every 30-40min. Breakfast was busy with a short wait for seats but worth it. Pool was busy.

This property is a nightmare with bugs, lizzards, ants, and cockroaches. Rooms are dirty with bed sheets full of stains and hairs. We escaped it rapidly after realizing the property state.
