"Wingrove House is a welcoming small hotel in the heart of the historic village of Alfriston, just off the South Downs Way. It has been sympathetically restored to make it a comfortable, modern hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spotless. There is a comfortable lounge and I enjoyed sitting there with a book in the evening. Breakfast was also delicious and the restaurante service was great."

"Had a great bank holiday weekend. The apartment is walking distance to the promenade and sea. There are many options for restaurants which are all a short walk away. The apartments are in very good condition and there is plenty of room."

"Loved this property! While the room was a bit dated, it was nice and comfortable. The common areas were absolutely beautiful and truly grand! Would definitely stay there again! Easy drive to the Seven Sisters Cliffs which were so breathtaking not to mention the beautiful countryside."

"Had a fantastic stay at The Landsdowne. Its a old hotel with lots of history. The staff, reception, breakfast and dinner, absolutely brilliant. Tomas, Hannah, Rosa, Dora, to name a few. Our room was spacious. We'll definitely be back. "

"We had a great stay. The family room was excellent and our kids loved the heated outdoor pool which we used when in February! The staff were lovely and we appreciated the little touches like snacks to take on our walks and home baked cookies. We will definitely be back. "
