The location was perfect. There were so many cafes and restaurants less than a 5 minute walk away. There was a bar right across the stress that quiets down around midnight. The staff were so friendly and helpful here and the housekeeping was extremely thorough and cleaned every single day and replaced all the towels. There is a mini fridge, AC/heat fan with a remote, and windows that open which were all a huge plus for me. I would recommend this place to a friend for sure.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was very good for us in terms of lots of places to eat nearby and proximity to the main places we wanted to visit. Also, it was a quite location at night despite being so close.
Room was comfortable and as described. The rooftop 'pool' looked as of the water had been there a while at the start of of stay but was cleaned, etc on the Friday.
We would stay here again is we were to visit Seville
I highly recommend Bypillow Abriil. Its clean and safe. Its located around the corner from the Setas. Lots of restaurants within a minute walk. A supermarket is located directly across the street. Its in a nice local neighborhood.
New hotel, room size is big and clean, bed is very confortable as well. For the room with terrace, very quiet at night. Outside the hotel, there’s a supermarket and a restaurant call “ Bar Salsamento” highly recommended. Great food, reasonable price and nice staffs.
The building is beautiful - Clean, well maintained, nicely designed and in a great location. They also have a beautiful rooftop which is worth visiting. The room was a bit small but that is the category of room we booked. I would recommend staying here.
We didn’t have very high expectations, as we got it due to the lower price. But turned out to be really nice. Very clean and comfortable. They also have free lockers, so we stored our luggage there on the day of the check-out. The hotel was as shown in the pictures.
The location is pretty convenient too, connects directly to one of the touristy streets. Lots of food options nearby, and one big supermarket just in front of the building.
Lastly it felt like the walls are thin as we could hear some noises from the lobby, but that didn’t really bother us.
My stay was great! The only reason it was not excellent it’s due to the checkin service. While I knew checkin was at 2pm, normally hotels have reception available during regular working hours to give info and luggage storage, however when I arrrived I discovered there was no reception service at all until 2pm, not even when writing to their WhatsApp. Thanks to the lovely ladies in cleaning that helped me and provided info about luggage storage until checkin time. They did an excellent job and I understand there might not be a receptionist in person during certain hours but I would suggest to answer WhatsApp messages during regular daytime.
Pro's
Good location to reach major tourist sites. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as shopping. Staff at reception were lovely and helpful. Good a/c and room was very clean
Con's
Very noisy when people are walking out in hall, in room above or beside yours. Doors are way too loud. Not all rooms have this but my room, 203 has a window facing a small sitting area which allows some natural light. My issue was that on my 2nd day, I wasn't feeling well and had the "do not disturb"sign on the door. Inside the room, I had the window shutters open to let some light in, but then someone on the hallway side had pulled aside the curtain and was looking at me. To say that was unsettling is understatement. Not sure if it was staff member wanting to clean room even though sign was on door or just another curious hotel guest. I don't understand the point of having the curtain in hallway. Anyone but the guest has access to it. How does that make the guest feel comfortable or safe. Spent the next days of my stay having to keep shutters closed. Although this hotel has other redeeming qualities, for this reason I can't recommend
I stayed for 7 nights, so feel I have a good gauge of the hotel.
Firstly, the staff are fantastic.
If you’re looking for a hotel with lots of breakfast and dining options within the property, this won’t be for you. However there’s a lot of breakfast and eating options within minutes. Especially if you enjoy a jamon tostada for breakfast! You can find plenty of coffee and quick eats like churros and croissants etc within 1 minute from the front door.
There’s a good supermarket right opposite the front door which is really handy.
The hotel sits just a minute from the square with the ‘Mushrooms’ wooden structure if that is the area you’re interested in staying in.
Some downsides:
If you’re staying the street side, it can be noisy at times. Delivery vans, dogs barking, people noise etc.
General noise within the hotel travels too; furniture dragging, doors slamming. The hotel would benefit by fitting felt or rubber pads to the feet of the wooden furniture to stop the noise of wooden furniture being dragged on hard flooring. Fitting some door frame padding would also be wise to prevent that also.
Overall it was a good stay. The location was handy for bars and restaurants. Only about ten minute walk to the lively Alameda Hércules area.
The housekeeping was very good, credit to the staff again.
Hopefully you’ll find this useful if looking to book.
Very clean boutique hotel. Everything is walkable and near the Parasol. The only thing I don’t like is their bath towels, it’s a cheap kind and also there’s no mechanism to open/close the curtains I have to do it manually.
The hotel is very goood. Actually, only 3 things were uncomfortable for me:
- the AC fixed right infrint of the bed. It blows directly to the bed.
- standard rooms are without windows. The description did not mention this;
- the blanket is very heavy and hot, even the AC minimum temperature is 22 only.
Excellent boutique hotel. Good sized rooms well decorated on a quiet but centrally located Street. Would commend on Jaime, the receptionist. Always kind and attentive to my needs. Observation for the management. As a former Hotel GM the spacious room 202 was great. But it did not have a shelf (it could go under the TV wall) to sit and write. Trying to locate a local TV channel, I was taken to a site Ondamex.com a local chat room. This blocked my access to other channels. Other than that I fully recommend this charming hotel.
