Hotel is located near all the main attractions of the city, but relatively quiet neighborhood. Public space is nice and chic, but rooms are dated. Breakfast is just ok. Probably will be better off just go to a local breakfast place.

It’s difficult to choose just one thing to highlight about the Colón Gran Meliá because our entire experience was excellent. From the location to the warm welcome we received from the moment we arrived, everything was outstanding. The entire reception team was incredibly attentive and helpful, including the staff who assisted us with recommendations and coordinating activities during our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, and the cocktails were excellent as well. Above all, what really stood out was the level of service. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay at the Colón Gran Meliá again. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Great hotel and great location. Our room was not perfect as water came out from the shower and the water pressure was equivalent to Niagara Falls. But the hotel overall is good. Sometimes my room smelled weird. Breakfast was very nice and so was the staff.
