Room was clean, did smell of old cigarettes but not recent. Coffee pot was junk, coffee in lobby was ok, didn’t eat breakfast. Pillows were like serf boards, but bed was clean and comfy . All in all wasn’t bad for the money!!

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The room and entire hotel had an odor that was tolerable but not fresh air. Breakfast was just average with some hot food but low quality. Took them almost a week to refund the $50 deposit. Staff could have been friendlier. I would stay here again just don't expect the stay to be the quality for the price.

Very clean and affordable.

The hotel was very clean! Fit and finishes were much better than a major brand hotel stayed at days before. Nice to have hot breakfast items. Unfortunately, it is located directly by a railway line but wasn’t too bad.

This inn had an excellent breakfast, really enjoyed our 2 day stay at this hotel. had excellent bed, pillows and a good shower. It was close to Laura Ingalls Wilder homestead .

This is a small town so there really isn't a lot to do. But this was located right off the main road and in close proximity to dining.

Excellent room, so-so breakfast.

Two night stay that was in a nice comfortable room with a king bed. Breakfast was a bit sparse with cold eggs even though it was 10 minutes into the start of the breakfast time. Get there right at 6:30 or eggs and meats are probably gone. Coffee available, but not tea.

I wish there had been an elevator. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and would be better if fresh fruit had been offered. The coffee and half and half was delicious! The room was clean and the beds/pillows were quite comfortable. I would definitely stay there again in the future!

Unimpressive

Very basic, average, relatively clean, minimal "hot breakfast", coffee in a thermos server, cable was out so no tv to watch, awful pillows. Could have left with a better impression if the proprietor would have simply been friendly upon our arrival and said "thank you for staying with us" upon our leaving. If all you want to do is take a shower and go to bed you're good. We chose this hotel because it was the closest to the Ingalls Wilder homestead.

My husband and I reserved a room at this hotel. It is a shame that there is almost no competition in this area for a hotel. When we went to register the gentleman who handled our check in was rude. Never looked us in the eye. My husband handed our credit card to him and he swiped it (I guess he used a swipe)and slapped it down on the counter and said it was declined.We used a debit card to pay for the room. Which is something we hate to do. Later we went to the local BBQ place and used the same credit card to pay for our meal. It was good. The next morning I checked my bank account to make sure that the correct amount had been taken from our account for the room. The reason was because the clerk was so rude we just didn't trust him. Honestly if we hadn't traveled all day and weren't so tired and if there was somewhere else close by to stay we would have just left. We will never stay there again, or recommend this facility.
