"Stayed two nights and overall great stay. The location we were staying at had a small hot water tank which was posted and I didn’t mind much. But if you are someone that likes a hot shower, just a heads up as I had a room temperature/ lukewarm shower and within 3-5 minutes the water was pretty cold. Also during our stay, it was extremely windy and the door kept shaking which we just placed a chair to prevent the sound."

"We found the stay very good to excellent. The place was situated on the shore of the bay and had an very nice view. The place was clean, comfortable and modern. The bathroom and shower were just what was needed and the kitchen and dining area were very good. One thing the client may need to know is the the Peridot Retreat is Actually one half of a building which is a duplex. The other half is known as the Peridot by the Shore. The bed in the chalet shares a wall with the kitchen dining area of the larger Peridot by the shore which has 3 bedrooms. When we arrived the other half was occupied by a family with a pick up truck and a car. They frequently invited their friends to spend dinner and the evening and they spent time in the kitchen playing music and cards which the noise passed through the wall. This made for a difficult early night for us on 2 nights. Briefly, due to the sound issue one should consider who will be sharing the building and one should let the neighbouring chalet know about the sound. Other than this issue our visit was spectacular and Yvonne was very supportive."
