I have stayed here many times now and it just gets better. Lovely comfortable rooms, extremely friendly staff, from the staff in the restaurant through to breakfast. The food has always been extremely good. Would thouroughly recommend.
The two lifeboats pub/ hotel is in a quiet old building so a
Bit cramped but all very nice and clean, the bar and restaurant is a good size and the food and service is excellent. I will definitely be taking another trip there once day.
Totally happy with our stay at the two lifeboats , a friendly welcome was a positive start , the staff was exceptional and the room was clean and tidy . Food and drinks were top notch , cant wait to go back .
We had a great stay. Our checkin was very welcoming by Quami . All the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay memorable. Ely and Claire and Anna were also wonderful and all the bar staff. The breakfasts were great with lots of Choices and they made us a lovely packed lunch instead of breakfast on the last day as we left early. The restaurant/bar was excellent and outside patio too.
Beds were very comfortable- we had a twin bed room with a view of the sea. Wifi was awful so we had to talk to each other hahaha
They do need to put a mirror near a plug as we could not use the hairdryer/curling iron and see what we were doing. We stayed 3 nights. We would stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights at the pub and had a lovely time in Sherringham. Just meandering around & walking along the seafront. The only problem we had was the mattress on our bed was far too soft, so uncomfortable and we both ended up with chronic back ache by the morning.
The food was good and the breakfast choice was amazing.
Lovely weekend. Very friendly and accommodating hospitality, lovely welcome, gorgeous food and really stunning views from our window! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. 10/10
Friendly welcoming on arrival. Twin Room with Sea view was small but had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable, and clean. Plenty of Tea/Coffee available in room. Overall we had a great stay. Breakfast was amazing and nothing too much trouble, if you needed anything.
Staff very accommodating and nice.
Fish and Chip evening meal was excellent!
No carpark on site but there was one near by, so wasn't a problem.
The food was OK but disappointing. No fresh fish options!! Breakfast was good. Coffee excellent.
Should be a better arangement with the council re parking.
Room was clean...good touches re coffee machine and shaving mirror.
The view of the sea from two windows was amazing. It is awkward to get to the rooms if you cannot manage stairs - one set of stairs very steep.
The breakfast was wonderful - full English and other options too. Our server Claire was also wonderful with titbits of local knowledge and didn't mind that I mistakenly thought she was Pam. Sorry Claire.
We didn't eat in the restaurant or have drinks in the bar but there was a convivial atmosphere as we walked through to go to our room. It is a popular place to visit if in Sheringham. I often walk past The Two Lifeboats so I was delighted I had the opportunity to stay. Many thanks to all the staff.

The Two life boats could do better
It was our first time at The two life boats first the positive review the food was amazing and the staff could not do enough for you in the restaurant. The only downside was at breakfast time you felt you were on top of each other eating your breakfast as we were very close to the next table also we awoke at 08:15 with the sound of a delivery of frozen food at the Two life boats and the truck’s fridge running which startled us. And the pillows were hard good job we bought our own we don’t think we will be returning. It’s a shame because the view was amazing looking out the window.
I came to The Two Life Boats for work, as I was teaching a class that evening and then early at an event the following day. Honestly — I couldn’t have had a better stay. My room was gorgeous, the food and wine was outstanding and the staff were so attentive. I couldn’t stay for breakfast as I had to get to an event early, so they packed me a lovely lunch! The assistant manager so was so kind and was attentive to help me with my luggage down the stairs! The view was super lovely and I loved the facilities.
I was so relieved I had a sea view. Extra care is always given to your stay, which is why I’ve booked again to come with my fiancé for our anniversary in June, and my parents to have a trip away in the summer for their anniversary - they deserve the very best with being full time carers. The only trouble I had was my shower was a little temper-mental (going hot and then cold) but I presumed it was to do with someone else having a shower at the same time maybe, it didn’t effect my stay and I’m sure it was just something very minor, but wanted to mention so it was sorted for future.
Thank you all so much, it was such a lovely stay and I can’t wait for future visits!

We found the double room with a sea view very clean and perfectly comfortable for one night. It was freshly decorated, had quality bed linen, and offered good tea and coffee making facilities.
The bathroom was very petite, and the shower cubicle and tiling could probably be upgraded as looked worn out. It’s an old building so hot water took a very long time to work its way to our sink. Though there was a little sign that stated this on the sink!
It was very windy when we visited and there was a constant whistling noise through the windows so you should bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The views were straight out to sea.
Breakfast was tasty, we enjoyed the vegetarian option.
We also ate dinner the night we arrived - good pub grub, several veggie options and very good service. Although, I was surprised they had the heating on in late May, it was boiling hot in the pub and we were sat next to a radiator. Thankfully our bedroom was nice and cool.
Overall the room rate seemed very high for a very average pub/non boutique B&B, especially compared to other places we’ve stayed. But perhaps this is normal for Norfolk!
Positive
Very clean and well run. Excellent very substantial breakfast and great staff. The single room has a (restricted) sea view and the location is right on the front. Food is served daily with some vegetarian choices. My meal was very nice.
Negative
The room is small and expensive for a small single. There is no ‘real’ coffee in the room but bottled water & biscuits were provided. It would have been nice to have some fruit as an option for breakfast (grapefruit segments even).
My main gripe was the shower. It has an eco-head (I have one) but the angle can’t be adjusted so a full blast into the face is on offer as the shower cubicle is too small to manoeuvre in. There was also nowhere to put my own toiletries and I ended up having to buy a little bag to hang on to the shower fittings so I could put my sponge and soaps in. (soap & stuff are provided in wall mounted containers). I hope you will put in a shower cady after reading this!
Clothes storage is limited to a few hangers on the wall and 2 drawers (which already contained a hair dryer and a fan). I did though manage to find enough space to do my yoga practice.
ALL IN ALL, IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY.
Was a really lovely pub, very welcoming, great service and the evening meal was to a very high standard. The manager moved us to a seafront view which was a nice touch, bed comfy, and well stocked tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was 5 star, highly recommended.
Just what you would expect from a seaside hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful we had a great evening meal, that we were not disappointed with. This was great as we really did fancy fish and chips sat beside the sea wall !! The room was well stocked with tea, water, biscuits and good to see plenty of the individual milk containers.
The breakfast was up there with the best all freshly cooked and hot.
