Large room with private bath/shower on deck. Two-minute walk to the calm beach which was calm enough for our young daughter to play safely on the beach and water. Highly recommend this establishment and we would definitely stay here again.
The property is a delight. The manager, speaks excellent English, and his wife were both so friendly and helpful. The property is in a quiet location near beautiful Sotorua Beach. It is so calm and relaxing. Shimoda is a short bus or taxi ride away or a 30 minute work. There is only one restaurant within easy walking distance and it is excellent. Suggest upgrading to a room with a private outdoor bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Quiet location, off the main road, en-route to small local beach. Parking available nearby. Reception only staffed certain hours so make sure you check in by that time. Seems like bathing is open to public for a separate fee - onsen tax is payable separate to your reserved booking. Room is large with sink and separate toilet. No ensuite shower in room so you will need to use shared bathing facilities.

House beach very close, transport connections are not quite optimal.
Tolles Hotel im typisch japanischen Stil, klein und familiär. Der Onsen war sehr erholreich und die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Strand war in ein paar Metern zu erreichen und wunderschön.
