"The hotel is in an excellent location if accessibility to public transportation is a priority. The staff are very courteous and helpful and the hotel amenities such as the laundry room and lounge area (very important since Taipei has so many street food vendors so you can bring back food to eat here) are very spacious. I love that they provide snacks and drinks (bottled water, coffee and tea) for free. There is one key thing I do hope that this hotel can improve upon is the fridge in the room. It does not work at all. I even requested that they replace the fridge which they did but even the replacement fridge did not keep anything cold. Taipei is hot and humid, so it would be so nice if I could have a cold beverage after I return to my room. I will definitely return to this hotel if they have improved and replaced their fridge."

"Pros: Nice cool looking hotel near Taipei Main Station. Rooms were clean, spacious and had good amenities except don't expect toothbrush/toothpaste. Free breakfast. Nice lobby area. great and very helpful staff. Cons: Restaurant option is not great IMO. I was expecting much more for a 5 star hotel. Site says two main restaurants(Italian and Western/Taiwan) but they are basically the same restaurants in the same space. Just two different menus. As far as menu, options in either the Italian menu or western/Taiwan menu are abysmal. I tried both menus. Better off eating elsewhere."

"Room was clean. room was small, but this is the norm in this area. 4 minutes walk from the main station. lot of restaurants and food around. If you arrive early, they store your bag for you. Safe area."

"Via Hotel was very clean, and the staff were very nice and friendly. They also have a laundry room with washers and dryers, which was very convenient for travelers. I really liked the toilet and bathroom design — it was so nice that when I got back home, I bought a similar one for my house. Great idea and very comfortable stay. I would stay here again."
