Nice hotel

Nice business hotel. The public bath is small but there’s no extra charge for using so it’s ok. Breakfast is nice with enough choices.

I really adored this place, and it was very conveniently located for day trips into Ginzan Onsen. The room was clean and affordable and in exchange for environmentally clean services we were given free beer or chuhai and breakfast vouchers. The hotel also has a nice public bath which worked wonders after a day walking in the cold. And honestly the chains sheep mascot was really cute; this place was just very charming for a place so far out in Japan. I will stay here the next chance I get.

Room is small, location is perfect on back of train station, as room charge is reasonable, breakfast is okay, it is easy to transfer by train to Tsuruoka or naruko onsen, but because of heavy rain on July, until today, the train either east or west are all temporary closed . So I can only take bus to naruko onsen. Very uncomfortable!
