"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. "

Two very large 24 hour car parks are five minutes walk away. All communication was great, check in was super easy and the apartment was exactly as expected. "Staying at this hotel made our break in Newcastle extra special. The decor is very stylish and luxurious both in the reception and bar areas and the bedrooms. We had a wonderful view of the river and the Millennium bridge from our window and everything in the room from the pictures, bed linen, easy chairs and lovely window blinds and curtains was elegant and stylish. The large bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was wonderful too, with a bath, a large walk-in shower and huge bath sheets and towels and nice toiletries. There was tea & coffee making facilities, with milk in the fridge along with bottles of water. All the staff we spoke to were charming, friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay at this hotel next time we are visiting family in Newcastle."
