Bedroom was renovated, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and with many options. Parking spots at the hotel are very limited and made for small cars. Location is great, close to train station and walking distance of the old town and main square.

Agosto and Lucia were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They give us great advice on what to see, restaurants to visit and where to park. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's clean and has such a European charm. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Italia is welcoming and comfortable. It is conveniently located a short distance from the railway station (which is connected to street level by ten escalators and relatively easy to access with luggage if they're all working). The included breakfast buffet offered a great array of tempting options. The centre of the city with all the main tourist sights is only a twenty to thirty minute walk away through very picturesque streets.

Hotel Italia was an absolute gem. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they understood we were tired from traveling with teens and even nailed a salon recommendation that turned out to be the best hair wash of my life, just minutes from the hotel. Our room was spotless, quiet, and the A/C worked perfectly; we didn’t hear a sound from neighbors or stair traffic. The location is a sweet spot — only 5 to 10 minutes from the tourist sights, yet tucked in a local neighborhood with bakeries and grocery stores, giving us that refreshing, peaceful feeling of being disconnected from the tourist rush. Breakfast was amazing, and the little teen-approved Duomo and gelato challenges made exploring even more fun. Bottom line: we’d come back and stay here again in a heartbeat. For anyone visiting Siena, Hotel Italia at Porta Camollia gives you that perfect “live like a local” buffer before diving into the Duomo and Piazza del Campo — and if you need a salon, just ask reception; their pick is solid.
