It was Tuscany. The buildings, the atmosphere just made one feel like being back in the Tuscan village. Once all is restored to its glory it will be so beautiful.

Comme ci comme ça!

The hotel reception itself was lovely and the surrounding land is just lush - its a proper countryside place, so if you don't like bugs or are bothered by mosquitoes, this is not the place for you! The shining star of this place is definitely the restaurant across the lawn - the food we had there (ate there 5 or 6 times) was absolutely delicious! We would come back for this alone! Our room was not great and didn't look like the pictures on the page. We had booked the apartment with kitchenette - the fridge didn't work and the kitchen was in a poor state. The kettle supplied did not fit in any of the wall plugs which was disappointing. The sofa is dirty and past best. After the first night, we asked to be moved due to the bug infestation and due to the fact that there was no air-con (which I thought I had booked, as I had filtered pool and aircon as my only wishes). Unfortunately, they were fully booked, but a fan was provided immediately. And we purchased a bug spray from the shop down the street. Breakfast was half home-made (recycled from previous days, though - sloppy fruit no thanks!) and half was bought from the Lidl shop down the road. Given the incredible restaurant, I expected a little more. We arrived in mid-late September when the weather was still fairly good, it would have been nice if the pool had been cleaned. Unfortunately, the amount of bugs / animals in the pool (including a full-grown living crayfish!) meant we did not even use it once.

La tenuta e’ Molto bella e potrebbe esserlo ancora di più se alcuni particolari fossero curati con maggiore attenzione. Abbiamo soggiornato in una delle camere sopra al ristornate la toraia per cui non so se le altre camere della tenuta fossero meglio o peggio della nostra. La camera si presentava in buone condizioni,accogliente e arredata con semplicità. Abbiamo subito notato che la pulizia non era eccezionale infatti ogni asciugamano da corpo era pulito ma con delle chiazze gialle piuttosto grandi... Durante la notte credavamo che i bambini della camera accanto si fossero trasferiti nella nostra camera! Le porte sono mal messe e si sente qualsiasi rumore provenga da altre camere o dal salottino che sta in mezzo ad esse. Anche le finestre andrebbero riviste perché quando piove..un po’ d’acqua entra dentro... Ogni mattina alle otto venivamo svegliati dal fastidioso rumore di forchette e coltelli che venivano asciugati da qualcuno nel ristorante sotto e lanciati su altre posate già asciugate... La colazione potrebbe essere sicuramente più curata...partendo dal coprire i cibi esposti sul tavolo con dei coperchi per evitare che le mosche ci banchettino sopra. Le ragazze alla reception molto gentili e disponibili. La tenuta si trova in una posizione favorevole per visitare tutte le zone limitrofe. Il ristorante la toraia e’ Molto carino e si mangia della buona carne proveniente dall allevamento di chianina della tenuta. Questa tenuta ha un grande potenziale!

Un bon rapport qualité/prix

Le petit déjeuner est basique. La salle de bain mériterait de sérieux travaux (chambre 10). Les chambres sont très simples voire dépouillées, mais la clim et le wifi marchent très bien, la literie est de bonne qualité. L'établissement est bien placé pour se déplacer facilement dans la région. Finalement le rapport Q/P est bon.

Rekommenderas!

Väldigt fina rum och ett häftigt boende. Vi stannade en natt, hade kunnat stanna ett par till. Frukosten var inte så bra, men servicen var super, trevliga och hjälpsam personal. Kan rekommendera att åka dit. God mat hade de också.

Tuscan history and charm on a working farm

Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed and tastefully furnisehd family room. If you are a group of friends then the privacy of the shower could be an issue as it is not in an enclosed bathroom, instead just screened by a little wall. The toilet is private behind a door. Amazing property with incredible history and very quiet surroundings. Lovely, expansive pool. Ideal for a large gathering or a wedding. Great restaurants on site. Quite isolated if youre hoping to walk to the town, this is not possible. You definitely need a car.

Bella scoperta!

L'hotel si trova in un posto spettacolare, adatto a famiglie e coppie. Propro davnti c'è un bel parco ed un ristorante. Le camere sono spaziose, belle e pulite. Si vede che la struttura è stata ristrutturata da poco! Il personale è gentile e ospitale...consigliatissimo!
