hotel was very run down. for example our shower head didn't work and we had to use the shower wand exclusively. clearly broken for a long time. power outlets didn't work. lamps in our room were missing lightbulbs completely.

Perfect hotel, prachtig gelegen aan het Balaton met eigen strand. Zeer schone kamers, dagelijks roomservice. Afgesloten terrein. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een geweldig goede keuken l. In een woord klasse. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding uitstekend. Een een woord 5 sterren meer dan waard.

Unser Premium-Zimmer wurde 2 Tage lang trotz Reklamation nicht besucht. D.h. keine frischen Handtücher, kein Toilettenpapier (habe ich selber aus der Lobbytoilette geholt), keine Kaffee-Tabs, kein Betten machen und durchwischen. Des weiteren hat unser Kühlschrank von vorne herein nicht funktioniert. Warmer Wein und Bier war das Ergebnis. Das Hotel an sich war ganz ok. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war angemessen.

Dieses Hotel war einzigartig, besonders gefallen haben mir der Komfort, die Sauberkeit, die Freundlichkeit der Leute, das gute Essen und vor allem die kurzen Wege. Die Lage mit Blick auf den Plattensee und das große Zimmer haben überzeugt. Gerne will ich das Hotel weiter empfehlen und/oder auch wiederkommen

Top Adresse direkt am Balaton

Sehr schönes und gut geführtes Hotel direkt am Balaton. Sehr feines Morgen-und Abendessen ! Ausser etwas spärlichem Zimmerservice 😏 alles top ! Preis-/Leistung in Ordnung. Hotel zur Weiterempfehlung 😉!

Five Star Is What Five Star Does

I drove here after going to a wedding in Slovakia and driving from London and I stayed in some bad hotels en route. Consequently I needed some 'spa time' for three days to recover after a hard journey. The Hotel Azur Premium package provided. The different five-course (FREE) meal every night was delicious and swimming/relaxing in both Lake Balaton and the spa itself was sublime. Like Lake Como, somewhat cheaper, but still an extraordinarily chilled experience

Angenehmer Aufenthalt im 5*-Bereich, super Essen

Wir hatten wirklich einen angenehmen Kurzurlaub. Das Essen im 5-Sterne-Bereich war wirklich supergut und das Personal extrem aufmerksam. Alles top! Einmal gingen wir im 4-Sterne-Bereich in das Bufettrestaurant essen. Grundsätzlich war auch hier das Personal top, das Essen war auch gut. Allerdings eine Kraft, die die Tische säuberte und anschließend nachdeckte, griff das saubere Essbesteck mit den Händen an, mit denen sie vorher den Tischlappen in der Hand hatte. Also den Teil des Bestecks, den man in den Mund steckte, griff sie mit bloßen Händen an. Das ist nicht nur unhygienisch sondern auch unappetitlich... Als ich sie darauf aufmerksam machte, war sie mir einen bitterbösen Blick zu, und räumte woanders weiter.... Das dürfte in einem 4 Sterne Restaurant nicht sein. Aber das war das einzige Manko an unserem Aufenthalt!

Um wiederzukommen, muss sich etwas tun.....

Ankunft (check in) war katastrophal. Wir sind aus Budapest angereist (Formel 1) und es war etwas spät. Man hatte den Eindruck, der junge Mann von der Rezeption hatte bereits geschlafen (21.30 Uhr!!!!!!!). Es war kein Licht, nicht im Eingang und nicht an der Rezeption - ein absolutes no go im 5-Sterne-Hotel. Am 2. Tag beschwerten wir uns über das fürchterliche Quietschen des Bettes. Die Rezeptionistin sagte, wir könnten deutsch sprechen und sie nickte auch freundlich, aber verstanden hat sich gar nix und das Bett hat 4 Tage lang gequietscht!!!! Essen war sehr gut. Am hoteleigenen Strand hat täglich ein "Drachen" die Hotelausweise kontrolliert, manchmal auch mehrmals am Tag - sie konnte sich überhaupt keine Gesichter merken. Und wie sollte überhaupt jemand fremdes da rein kommen, wenn schon an dev Hoteleinfahrt Schranken und ein Pförtner sind??? Sauberkeit - na ja, entspricht keinem 5-Sterne-Standard.

Die Lage am See und das Zimmer (wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer mit Seeblick) waren hervorragend. Auch die Ausstattung des Hotels war sehr gut. Allerdings sind die 5 Sterne ggf. ein Ziel, allerdings fehlt für die Umsetzung durchaus noch der eine oder andere Schritt. Für uns bewegt sich das Hotel nach deutscher Kategorisierung zwischen 3 und 4 Sterne. Ganz wenig Personal spricht deutsch, nur wenige sprechen englisch (allerdings mehr tals deutsch). Das Personal macht den Eindruck, das zu tun, was die ureigene Aufgabe ist, schau aber nicht über den Tellerrand, um ggf. Kollege oder Kollegin auf Missstände aufmerksam zu machen. Das war vor allem beim Frühstücksservice sowie auch Zimmerreinigung zu merken. Das Frühstück bot ansonsten alles, was man sich in solch einem Hotel wünscht, das 5-Gänge-Menü abends (immer drei zur Auswahl) empfanden wir durchaus als kulinarisches Event.
