"The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The lobby and bar area was beautiful, and my room was so cute! I got a tiny room and it was just right for a solo overnight stay. Toiletries were lovely and I got to use the spa area soaking tub as well. The location is so close to everything. The only drawback was the street parking, but I was able to find a close spot each time I parked."

"The only thing thing that was most annoying was that early in the morning I could hear the people one floor up above us walking back and forth banging around in their room....this went on for at least 90min...I think after they left then the cleaning staff went in and continued....so unfortunately not a restful morning for me. I will request the top floor from now on when making reservations."

"Being right in the center of HR was amazing. We were in town for a family memorial, so being able to host friends for a few hours one afternoon was ideal. Lots of space - and easy to access for most folks. Great views. Trains. Lots of trains. But I mostly slept through. One of the reasons we booked was for the rooftop terrace overlooking the gorge. One of the two Adirondacks was broken - there was a hammock frame but no hammock, the firepit wouldn't stay lit, and there was a fish cleaning station filled with dirty water... :( I did share this with the management team so hopefully they were able to fix for next guest. All in all, great location."

"Six adults and we all loved the place. The view was fantastic. The roof with the chairs were so relaxing morning and night. If you want quiet this is is not in the woods but right in Hood River. You can look out over to Washington state and the trains run constantly which didn’t bother us at all. Walk in to town was perfect. Garage parking was quite the feat! But husband got it perfect every time. The host and maintenance gentleman and his wonderful wife were awesome to work with!!!Bedding was great. Yes we would stay there again without thinking twice."
