Spend time there with your children building castles, swimming or listening to the waves in relaxed surroundings. If you fancy an excursion, you can cross the impressive Great Belt Bridge to Funen and explore the life of Hans Christian Andersen in Odense. Alternatively, a trip to nearby Slagelse with the ruins of the Antvorskov monastery is well worth a visit.
