"Golf Hall of Fame has moved. The property seems abandoned. The roof was leaking in the lobby. Room was in poor condition. Amenities were outdated and/or in poor condition. There is no way I would have paid $200+ per night if I had seen the place in person, prior to booking. Staff was nice."

"It was nicely located close to everything. Staff was very nice. Weather was cold so I could not enjoy the pool, but it looked lovely and clean. Breakfast was good variety. Room was clean when we arrived. We had a small issue with room and we were immediately re-located to a new one without any issues. We had a three night stay only thing that bothered us was another person staying with an insanely loud motorcycle sound type truck every morning at 6:30 waking everyone up."

"I take my son and his friend on 2 trips a year, spring break and summer. I prefer to go with cheaper hotels and spend more money on experiences. Im not overly critical of cheaper hotels as i don't set my expectations too high. This hotel is bad though. First, i feel like a lot of places are slapping "plus" at the end of their name to draw you in. This is no "plus" hotel. Unless they're counting the $40 barely cold mini fridge in the room. Upon arrival we discovered that the toilet is made for toddlers. After fighting to get the bathroom door closed (it hit the toilet as you're closing the door). Im not overly tall, but this toilet was very short. There were tiny roaches in the room. Im a floridian, so that wasn't too big of a deal- until i discovered they were there because the room hadn't really been cleaned well. Counters were sticky, trash still in the bin, etc. I had already looked around before booking the room so i was resigned to this is the room that fit my budget at the time so i just cleaned the room myself. We're going to be gone all day and just sleeping there- it is what it is. We came back to the room around 10 pm the first night and it was like a homeless person hangout spot by our room. People smoking pot 2 doors down, people sitting on the ground on the 2nd floor smoking whatever above us. Stomping and yelling in the room above us. Weird smells. Definitely lock your doors! Im out of room and can't even add the drug overdose experience to this review 😮‍💨"

"Great place to stay,close to everything"

"My husband and I are very disappointed with this hotel. Before I list the bad I will say that the room was surprisingly clean. The bathroom was clean, but needs an update. The Lakeview and pool very nice. Here we go; the elevators were dirty and the carpet on the 3rd floors was even worse. Stains throughout the entire hallway, the walls are dirty and the paint is coming off the doors. We were afraid to enter the room. After watching the TV for a couple hours, the remote will not change the channel. We went down for breakfast at 9:29am the staff said we had two minutes to get breakfast after the front desk told us that breakfast was not over until 10 AM. We paid 25 for this breakfast the only thing that was edible was a yogurt. The eggs were burnt, no cream cheese for the bagels and the French toast cold and tasted like styrofoam. I can go on but will stop. I normally do not write reviews, but I do not want anyone to have to experience what we did !!"
